As the IDF continues to strike Hezbollah targets, the commander of the IDF's Northern Command met with security coordinators to present the security assessment and stages for escalation.
The head of the IDF's Northern Command met with security coordinators to discuss security along the northern border on Friday, as the IDF conducted operational strikes on Hezbollah targets on Saturday. The IDF announced on Saturday that it struck military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon, including operational military headquarters. Among the targets were buildings being used by Hezbollah terrorists in the Ayta ash Shab area, operational military headquarters in the Majdal Zoun and Kafra municipality, and additional infrastructure in Mhaibib. Additionally, the IDF announced that launches were detected crossing into northern Israel earlier in the day and that the military has returned fire to their points of origin. As exchanges of fire ensue and tensions rise with Hezbollah, Maj.-Gen. Ori Gordin met with security coordinators to discuss the security situation on Israel's northern border on Friday. Gordin sat down with the security coordinators of the Mateh Asher and Ma’ale Yosef regional councils, continuing a series of meetings as part of a campaign to strengthen the relationship between the IDF’s Northern Command, the councils, and the residents of the North. “We are constantly strengthening our readiness to launch an attack in Lebanon. Our commitment – my commitment – is to change the security situation to ensure residents return to their homes,” the commander told the security coordinators of the Western Galilee councils. Plans for potential escalation At the same meeting, Gordin presented the main points of assessing the security situation, the IDF’s commands in the recent period, and the stages for continuing and even escalating fighting in the North if needed. https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-791067 |

The greedy war hawks make sure that we've mostly got senseless wars to fight.

No problem. Our deeply experienced wartime president will get this straightened out when he has his “come to Jesus” sit down with Bibi.

Israel you better have lots of ammo and bombs.
I still say make carpet bombing great again. |

Don't count on the war in the north starting anytime soon. Every few weeks a general officer goes up there and talks about possible conflict. The Air Force has been hitting all kinds of Hezbollah targets since October, and the two HQs they hit seem to be more of the same. When they bomb something or someone big, Hezbollah goes nuts, sending 40 or 50 rockets into Israel instead of the usual 7 to 10.
The IDF said 37 rockets in two barrages from Lebanon were fired into Israeli territory, into the Meron area in northern Israel. Seven were intercepted. Hezbollah accepted responsibility for the rockets View Quote Israel has alot going on. Ramadan starts the 10th or 11th, historically they've had issues that start in Jerusalem and end up causing trouble in Gaza and the West Bank. I'd bet they want to keep their ground troops in the north free in case they are needed elsewhere. Israel has said they will start the attack on Raffah in Gaza at the start of Ramadan if there is no exchange agreement. Hamas walked out of the talks last week without an agreement. Hamas and the commander of the IRGC both threatened an increase in attacks in the near future. They could be bluffing, but you'd better be ready for anything in case they're not. Biden and American support is the final wild card. Attacking Hezbollah is a very big deal, and Israel needs to be sure they've got enough munitions to handle it and any other contingencies that might pop up. Is Biden going to keep giving them munitions? Don't be surprised if Biden links needed military aid to the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, which might mean Israel would need additional troops to help with that. They also have domestic political issues and some conflict inside the War Cabinet itself. But who knows, all I know is what open source crap I manage to find. There might be an armored column halfway to Beirut as I type this. |

I guess we will be air dropping supplies to folks in Lebanon shortly.

Sinwar and other terrorists in Gaza have been so devastated by this unexpected action of war by Israel, that they are running in haste and leaving behind bundles of cash in the millions found in the tunnels! What rich terrorists like Hama's Sinwar or a fat comfortable mullah in Lebanon (who has been swindling from the UN and taking money from Iran and living very comfortable), wants his life reduced to rubble and be chased! Seems like its an undesirable position this Lebanon mullah is putting himself and his family in because of some rag-tag hezballah radicals who can't stop shooting skyrockets over the border and making themselves a needless nuisance to the very pissed off izzies. Israel will rightfully do as they need while they are on a roll. |

Hopefully, Netanyahu has enough sense to imprison God's strongest retard Ben Gvir, and Biden has enough of this genocidal war mongering and enforces a no fly zone over Israel and Lebanon.

Was this in response to Biden’s directives! If so lol.
Maybe IDF needs to rescue the Gazans and drop them off in Lebanon. It might save artillery expenditures down the road. |

View Quote They tried that 30 years ago and it bit them in the ass. They dumped a bunch of Hamas leaders off in Lebanon in 1992, maybe hoping the Shia would kill them. Instead, they were welcomed by Hezbollah and ended up getting the jihadist version of the Army's Command and General Staff College. They returned to Gaza and the West Bank with new ideas on how to organize attacks and able to make better car and suicide bombs. Israel let them back in response to a unanimous resolution from the UN Security Council. |

Lebanon is all fucked up, you literally have two standing armies, one is official. Neither seems to fight each other. One doesn't need to and the other doesn't want to, that's my take. The Jews are only acting like they are team players with America but in reality only want to keep up their gravy train with the US but that's about all for now. The only thing that Israel sees in its immediate future with the US is how much damage control that they need to accomplish and maneuver around once the US starts fucking everything up. Not an illogical pattern of thought in light of most everything considered according to what the US is up to now. |
