My wife was born in Mexico. We've been married for 21 years and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world (well, maybe two twenty y/o's). From what I have seen they are very loyal, they don't cheat, unlike their Mexican male counterparts.

My wife was born and raised in Phoenix,AZ but she is Hispanic by heritage. She can be moody at time but then I think most women are that way. At least she puts up with me, that's what is important. I've always had a thing for olive skin, she doesn't have to get a tan, she looks good just like she is and I've always liked women with dark hair and eyes so that works for me as well.

There's a Latin gal I know that has me going hmmm - she's intelligent, kinda quiet, has some personality traits I like.
Well, this may be generalizing as I guess it doesn't really matter what ethnic background a person is, just depends on the person. In other words, what ethinic background they are is no barometer on whether they would make a good partner. So, my topic is kinda mute, but still...are there any traits particular to Latin women, like devotion to family, etc. |

Hispanic women make the best wives....
then again, I'm a hispanic woman and a wife..... OK let me see what I have seen in my family, both my mother and her sister (the hispanic side of my family) are pretty domineering women. I wouldn't marry them. They both have their husbands by the balls Oh and neither one of them cooks! Or does housework. Oh not looking good for the hispanic women! But I guess you can't judge all women by their actions. I don't think I am like that but you would have to ask my husband. |

It ain't the wife that would be the problem. A smart guy can probably figure out if he can tollerate her quirks before he marries her.

My one-half Mexican wife is perfect in every way. I have no clue how the Mexican descent may contribute beyond her appearance--dark hair and eyes that I just LOVE. I have always thought of dark-haired women when I think "beautiful woman." Blondes are great, but you guys can fight over them.

I can’t speak for the whole race/nationality but this is what I have seen in my somewhat limited experience.
The ones born in Mexico yes. The ones born in America no. I have two half brothers from my mom’s first marriage. She married a Mexican American. He cheated on her but not before she had my two half brothers. Two of my Nephews have married Mexican Americans and both cheated on them and left them with the kids. On the other hand my mom’s ex-husband married a Mexican woman (born/raised Mexico). She was a wonderful woman who did not cheat. She cooked and cleaned and took good care of him all the days of her life without a single complaint while working full time too. |

Mexico is IN (North) America. Mexicans are Americans too. So are Canadians and U.S.A. citizens. Argentinians, Bolivians, Brazilians, etc are also Americans. And further: Russians east of Ural Mts, Indians, Chinese, etc are ASIANS |

My wife and I got married quite young, both in our mid-teens (well her a year younger than mid teens, andme a year older...) SHe has been the greatest wife a man could ask for after two kids, whom she is a lovingmother to, she is still more than I can handle. Is open to any kinky thing I can think of, and will happily take a day off if I fee1l like lazing around with her. I don't know if it has anything to do with her being Hispanic, or if it is just her, but there you go. |

Well, I'd say no but you can't generalize just as in any situation. A number of Latin women that I know were stunning beauties in their prime, they are mostly overweight approaching their 40's and they all seem to have the temper of Satan. Again, this is a generalization but if I had to create a stereotype it would be one of a wolverine.

There is no continent called America my friend. Mexicans are NORTH Americans. Hondurans are CENTRAL Americans. Americans (as in people from the United States of AMERICA) are NORTH Americans. People all over the globe refer to somebody from the United States citizen as an "American." If you want to get technical then get it right . Since you are in Austin, I take it she is of Mexican desent? Born here or in Mexico? I am in Austin and have experiance dating women who are actually from Mexico, here are some things to keep in mind if she is in this category. 1. How big is her family, specially the ones here, how many kids does she have (Here and in Mexico, and there are a few usually), can she make tamales (if no, then walk away)?
A good authentic Mexican girl will more often than not make a good wife. I had a GF here that would come over to my apartment and clean it, then cook dinner from scratch, hop in bed with me, then make me a snack while I recover by taking a short nap. She met the above criteria. If she is from here (Texican), does she even speak spanish? She then may just be a "Coconut" and is no different than any other girl around here. |
