The regular NASCAR RAdioactive hasn't dropped yet so we have this.

I guess they drop on Wednesday this year instead of Tuesday like in years past.  They do a much better job than Fox or NBC.

I must be living under a rock because I just found out that Dale Jr is out at nbc and might not go back?  That's crazy to me.  I would have thought anyone would give him whatever he wanted.

It is difficult to believe they'd let him walk.  If anyone needs to hit the unemployment line it's Jeff Burton.

Fox seems to have a good balance with Kevin Harvick in the booth now.  It's such a night and day difference between them and NBC with the way they call the race without all the hysterics and yelling you get from NBC, over-hyping the smallest of things.  It wears on you real fast trying to watch one of the NBC races.  Just let the race play out and stop trying to sell every little moment as the best thing they've ever witnessed.  There are too many people in their booth, and Burton needs to go.

Did he step on some toes or did he say something on his Daily Download NBC didn't like?  He has questioned many of NASCAR's decisions lately and I wonder if he rocked the boat too much.

That would be quite interesting. I don't care for Bestwich but Dale and Larry Mac might be a good combination.
Kenny Wallace said today, in so many words, that NBC fell out of love with Dale over him wanting a wider camera angle to show more of the racing and hinted that NBC may want the announcers somewhere other than the actual race track doing commentary like the current F1 races are broadcast. He also hinted Dale is going to get paid.

I'd prefer them to stay in IndyCar.

I wouldn't mind if one or two of the Kraut OEMs went to cup.

Ridgelines in trucks would be cheap and easy considering they all use spec Ilmore engines - so no developing a pushrod engine.  Stellantis should fund a few Rams as well.

Tell the truth, NASCAR would make good longterm team cost savings if they allowed OHC engines.  Valve train maintenance is probably a huge expense.  Maybe apply a BOP like IMSA during a transition period.

I have seen statements here and there that Stellantis has no desire to enter any form of NASCAR racing in America. Are they involved in drag racing or is that all privately funded these days?

Dodge is big-time behind Tony Stewart's fuel teams.
