Well bubba now gets insulin 2x daily.  He lost 6lbs 18 to 12 since January.  so I took him in for test.   Blood glucose off the charts and explains bricks of clumped litter.  He doesn't seem to notice shots. Him in foreground

Too loud in the living room.  Herbie doesn't like loud.  Hiding out in the family room.  Usually he hides upstairs under the blanket on my bed.

To my surprise, when I stopped by this morning, both kittens were huddled up inside.  I sent the picture to my mother and to my surprise, she decided to adopt them both.

Can't believe no rescues or any shelters have wanted Lil George or angel or any others for adopting out

Haven't been able to find homes for cats in over a year

Smudge sometimes puts her toys in the food bowl. I used to think it was because she was trying to intimidate the other cats. I now think it's because she's trying to feed them.
She wants to keep them healthy so they'll be worthy opponents.

So she can eventually rip them to shreds.

@raffi383

We use a Whisker Feeder-Robot for our two retards.

https://www.litter-robot.com/feeder-robot.html

App-enabled and has a battery backup.

They have auto scooping litter boxes too, which we also use.

Left the cats home alone while we traveled for the week of Thanksgiving. They drink from the toilet too, so we didn’t need an auto water machine.

I haven’t posted in this thread in a while.

Yesterday was a shitty day, we had to put Odie down. He was only a little over a year and a half old. Apparently had a stroke. Our vet said they could treat him to maybe give him another year, but that would be a shitty life. It really sucks, he was a little asshole, but he was a good kitty.Attachment Attached File

All good kitties are also assholes.  Sorry for your loss.

My wife is in a panic as her favorite 14 year old cat is losing interest in eating.  I hope something changes but she only weighed 5 lbs at peak.

Sorry to hear about Odie.  I had to put 2 of my 3 cats down in the past two months.   Chloe was a tiny cat and she stopped eating, tried everything.  Turns out she had cancer in her intestines.   She was bonded to my Maine Coon Homer.  He lasted about a month when he stopped eating and had a lot of trouble moving.   He had been arthritic in the past.  Brought him in and found he had bone cancer and it had metastasized to his lungs.  Chloe was 15 and Homer 17.  It sucks but they are together again.

This is my newest cat Yoyo.
I found her unconscious in my backyard. The Vet said that she thought Yo had be bitten on the head and shaken unconscious by a neighbor’s dog.

She has made a fairly good recovery and is the happiest cat I’ve ever had.
Her balance and hearing isn’t up to par but she is a very happy and loving kitty.

It was a few feet further away this morning.

I used to find toys in the toilet regularly. One day I caught my little girl taking a toy into the bathroom and nudging the door shut. She'd then toss it up in the air like a mouse and eventually it landed in the bowl. She hasn't done it since I watched her. I guess I ruined her fun.

This is my Melon. He was the bestest boi you could ever ask for. Rescued as a 12 oz waif stuck under my porch he grew to be the best 17 lb kitten you've ever seen. Diagnosed with GI lymphosarcoma in September, we tried chemo until a week and a half ago. On the 15th he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, sleeping on my chest as he had from the first day we found him.
