I'm new here but I'm in on this. Go 24 and 88. I might also add that any and all failures by Richard Childress and his two dim witted grand sons will be met with great joy and eternal glee. May fuck be upon the Childress camp.

View Quote I've tried and I've tried and I've tried (because I like nearly every form of motorsport)... but yeah, large crowds of cars turning left on a wide, banked oval just doesn't do anything for me at all. I'd get more enjoyment watching a live feed of an LA freeway. I'll cease crapping in the OP's left-leaning thread now. |

I'm really looking forward to this season (I'm not sure how I feel about all the format changes but that's for another thread). In addition to both races at TMS, we're going to the 500 next weekend. It'll be my first trip to Daytona.

My step sister is dating a good friend of Michael Annett, and if he's free for one of the races, I'll likely get hooked up with pit passes. |

What channel? I pretty much stopped watching when the COT was introduced. Stuck on couch with flu today so I would like to see what the latest changes bring.
ETA: Never mind. Meds have affected my reading comprehension... |

May the 11, 18, and 20 find themselves afoul of the five minute rule every week.

Hell yeah! I'm stoked to see how the rule changes shake up the races this year. View Quote I'm thinking they shot themselves in the foot AGAIN this year. They just keep screwing it up worse and worse and charging more and more. I used to like and enjoy Nascar. Even went to 3 or 4 events a year. It's been 3 years since I have been to one and have no desire or intention to attend any this year. I'll watch and give it a chance early season but it's not looking good for this fan |

Knew that there was a reason I wanted to get off early today!

Been to many races in person.... just cant fucking stand it. Mind numbingly boring |

Looking forward to it. I'll be very interested to see how Stewart-Haas does with the Ford switch this year. Penske bombed their first season under the oval, but they bounced back quick. ( too quick.... )

Yeah, almost every decision they have made going back to building all the 1.5 mile tracks was wrong, so stipulated, but this seems like a totally different approach coming out of the mothership. |

1979 Daytona 500 condensed into 30 minutes on FS1 right now. View Quote Cool thanks for the heads up. Oh and went to the Dr. Tuesday and said I can start working at getting the strength back up in my arm so hopefully will be able to go shooting soon. Been thinking of just getting a .22lr pistol to at least get out and shoot. |

In!
Although ill I'll be watching most of the races via replay on YouTube one week late geaux 24! I bet Elliot gets his first win this year. |

I thought that this had to be a red flagged Japanese race rather than at Daytona. NASCAR Clash!

On the bright side, they're both going to get a win before Danica. I looked it up, in her whole career, she has won 1 race, back in 2008 in an IndyCar race. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I'm expecting good things from the Wood Brothers and Ryan Blaney this year.
Go 21. |
