To me, leading the pack, way out in front are the Snap-On people with the Stihl people somewhere in the frontrunners.
What's your candidates? |

You ever used a Snap-On screwdriver?
I am not a total snob. I've got a huge range of tools, and I replaced a Snap-On end wrench with a Craftsman one (after the 3rd replacement) when I was the 'front-end guy' and did a lot of breaking loose of rust suspension fasteners. However, they do make some really good shit. |

Chevy guys, John Deere owners, iPhone(Apple) folks, Fender guitars/Marshall Amp owners

Cyclists.
Whatever brand that they ride. Frame, wheels, gruppo. you name it. |

I hate hearing from Starbucks twits how good their shitty coffee is. I roast my own better than some stale shit they get shipped in
|
|
Ultralight Backpackers. Gun snobs can't hold a candle to us. Not only is brand important, but we measure shit down to half ounce.

The only BMW owner I know of, actually kind of related to, only works on other people's teeth and getting on my nerves during family get togethers. Aside from dental tools, I don't think he even owns a screwdriver. |

Cheap, shitty optics snobs are as bad as the expensive, excellent snobs. Flashlight snobs belong on the list, too. |

Toyota drivers.
I honestly don't see why they retain value so well. Not really any better in quality than any other Japanese auto maker. Hell Hyundai is now making cars on par with Toyota. This is followed by the Honda guys. Honda makes great power equipment, atvs, and motorcycles but their cars are just meh. Cummins owners. 20 years ago I would say that Cummins was the best out there but now Ford and Chevy have diesels that are just as good. In big trucks it's a wash too unless you are talking about that crappy Maxxforce. |
|
Harley Davidson
I own one, but it's not as serious as some owners make it out to be. |

Toyota drivers. View Quote I drive one. It's a boring commuter car. Reliable and efficient, but nothing to brag about. Hell, I hate answering "What do you drive?" I'm a car guy who has a boring Toyota, and I feel compelled to immediately talk about my Mustangs to redirect those conversations. |

Musicians are some of the biggest gear snobs you can imagine. From guitars to amps to pedals, rack equipment to the type of cable and type of plugs, even the brand of capacitors in the equipment. SNOBS.

I am not a brand snob by any means even though I work for a large and well known one. I will say this though.. in the past couple months the beer I have been buying has been Yuengling and all versions of it

Texas people. Actually very bad gun laws, or had bad ones.
Apple people. Phones, sure, but the computer people for sure. Cheap brand people. As bad, or worse, than high end people; but way more of them, so they feed off each other's energy. Harley Davidson riders. Or sunday riders... Marines. (Yes, called out) The only Snap-On owners I know are shop mechs. They make good tools, plus they have company guys going around to major customers to sell more to and replace tools on occasion. That reminds me... either need to buy an SI or Tohnichi torque wrench for AR building... The ones from China totally SUCK and I'm sick of them failing. |
|
Porsche guys, and I am one.
Though not the snobby sort. I am something of a Surefire whore, though. |

I pretty much only wear Polo Ralph Lauren or Brooks Brothers.

|
Harley, I have no logos of the brand of bikes I ride on any of my gear or other clothing.
Nor do I wear said gear to a motorcycle show in the middle of winter. |
|
Can't believe I appear to be the first to say... BEER SNOBS!
