I love the star destroyers but if i have to pick one ship, I choose Serenity.

All the Star wars ships are iconic... the x-wing is my favorite.
The Star Destroyers are up there. The Millennium Falcon ranks higher, imho, but the SDs are great because they're so brutally efficient. Angles, no curves. Look like a dinosaur or shark tooth. The designers did amazing work evoking not just cool shapes and designs, but also ideas that tap into your consciousness and grab you. You don't have to know the Empire is a threat to know that the gray, desolate wedge menacingly hovering in space is bad news. |

With a nekked Summer Glau in an ice box "Serenity" aint bad. But remember until the end of the movie it never had a weapon mounted.

I always kinda wondered why they were called Star Destroyers. If they can kill stars what the hell do they need the Death Star for

They evoke immediate emotions of "bad shit about to happen" from their shape and structure. Such a brilliant design. And not just that. They look like a visual embodyment for the word " firepower". Like how a modern Aircraft Carrier or Battleship from WW2 exemplifies. |

The Defiant is stupid. Either this little ship was really that powerful and made the rest of the fleet look like chumps because every other race in the alpha quadrant didn't think of making a ship that small that powerful, or it make the rest of the fleet look like chumps because it was typical Star Trek handwavum when the script needed it. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile The Defiant was a neat enough ship design but it could have been called the Desperation because it only happened when the writers and producers realized that DS9 was getting hammered by a little upstart program called Babylon 5 and its truly epic story arc and purpose-based ship design. |

Didn't we just do this?
Also my vote would be just about any ship out of warhammer 40k |

This thread is about STARSHIPS. The Serenity is a damn garbage scow.
Please post starships. Starships have weapons and FTL. |
