The illegals are not going anywhere. There wasn't support to deport them 30 years ago and there is less support to do it now. I rather see a solution to the problem than more talk about something that will never happen.

1. Convert to legal immigrant status, but give up any chance of citizenship. Ever. For them and their children. 2. Get put on track to citizenship, but give up all claim to any government benefits. End birthright citizenship for children of non citizen parents and end welfare for undocumented immigrants. Problem solved right there.
No one from an enemy state gets to set foot on American soil PERIOD. Refugees can go pound sand, literally, like in Kuwait or Saudi Arabia... By the way FUCK SAUDI ARABIA. Then deport the problem immigrants like Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, (or throw out of plane without parachute, perform medical experiments on them, etc. I don't fucking care), and then put an end to sanctuary cities. Back taxes to cut in line? Sure why not, again I don't fucking care. Sorry, but there will be no mass deportations of immigrant families and no stripping of citizenship already granted, even if there was, it would be a total cluster fuck PR nightmare. |

Rand Paul is/was a statesman who put what is best for the country first instead of what promote the party the best first. I like that as partisan politics suck. Obamacare is a perfect example of what partisan politics will get you. Rands immigration idea was basically "they are here and are not going anywhere, so lets give them a route to becoming productive tax payers". A lot of that of that was through different work Visas but for the law abiding people here there would be a way for them to make amends, still go through an immigration process, and then if they continued to be law abiding could become citizens. I have no problem with hard working, law abiding people, wanting to immigrate here. |
