Hideous. That Screaming Chicken and those barf inducing rims need to be relegated to the crusher.

Seems cheesy
Those two brothers remind me Ed Helms character from Live Hard, Sale Hard; The Legend of Don Reddy, that movie also had a bandit edition Trans-Am. |
Great. I would like to beat on one for an hour or two, but even if widely available at the going rate for soemthing like that? Pass |

I never realized this car might be a thing for some people, like the General Lee is for my friend from North Carolina.

Good to see Pontiac is still making cars.
Bert must be broke, he's been promoting and selling a lot of stuff. |

Lots of people out there are Trans Am fanatics. it wouldn't be a Trans Am w/o the screaming chicken and those rims are what a lot of people look for in a Trans Am. |

Burt still looks cool. And he looks a lot cooler than that car.

More flame graphics on the INSIDE of the door panels? AND the headrests?
A little overboard for me, but to each, his own |

My first car was a 77 Bandit edition Trans Am. I loved that car back then, but they shoulda just let it die. That thing is horrendous

I'm trailer park when it comes to T/A's and Camaros but gotta say that is absolutely hideous. If that car would end up at my house via a giveaway I'd yank the body off and sell it to the highest bidder. My guess is that'd be the local scrap yard.

I like it.
Can't afford it, but I like it. ETA: Looks like the builders have been doing this a while, http://transamdepot.com/ |

View Quote Have to quote to view That is a cool car. I love the front end. Too bad they are only making 77 of them. Now if Dodge would make a 2 door Charger.. |

not a GM release
http://www.transamworldwide.com Starting as Trans Am Depot, LLC in 2011, brothers Tod and Scott Warmack and partner Jim Dowling of Tallahassee, FL collaborated with graphic designer Kevin Morgan to bring to life the vision of a modern day Trans Am. To that end, the team secured exclusive rights to the Trans Am brand and began to build cars for the public. |

I am a huge fan of the T/A. I am also a habitual purist when it comes to Scotch, Cigars, Wine, and Cars.
That thing is awful. |

View Quote The only thing I took from that video is that Burt Reynolds is old and unwell. Notice how they completely avoided showing him standing unsupported and the only bit of walking was a shuffle |
I've always been a Pontiac/Firebird guy, owned an 82 TA, and I like that car.
I think Burt's shelf life as a spokesman/endorser has expired.
I like the way they edited out Burt's walker in all the shots.
That's like painting a brand new Charger in the General Lees paint scheme. Just. Doesn't. Work.
Damn, Burt turned 80 in February. Cool vid. Looks like a big block Chevy.
It's garish, excessive, and completely over the top.
I like it. |
