I can't figure out what music I like to lift to. I used to lift to dub step and weird electronic shit. I can't stand it anymore. Rap music is dindu garbage and can't get into it. Every other genre just seems too mellow to get my swole on. Maybe there a type of electronic shit I'm missing that's good to lift to? I think maybe it's the obnoxious vocals they often play in dub step and crap I get sick of idk.
What does GD lift to? |

Drowning pool "Bodies"
Onyx "Slam" (let the boys be boys) I'll have to pull my playlist and post the rest |
|
I would probably also jam some Megadeth and Mastodon for good measure.

Till I collapse -Eminem. Over and over and over and over and over

Last two Acacia Strain albums, occasionally Rammstein, Black Dahlia, Battlecross, Black Tongue.
The only people lifting to Rap and R&B spend their entire time posing and texting. There's no way that shit gets anyone charged up for a heavy pull. |

Pantyraid is no vocals dubstep/ dubtrip. The other two are electronic. Something new to check out. Pandora makes it easy to customize a station to be "lift all of the things radio." ... But what the fuck would I know? I'm in fucking physical therapy from a lifting injury and am not supposed to pick up anything over 40 lbs. |

Metal....mostly harder metal. Thrash, death, black, groove...
The lighter metal and rock just does not do it for me, although I can work out to AC/DC and some ZZ Top. Something like this works fairly well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H59e22fU2RA |

Just started training again.
Fuel, Vertical Horizon, Staind. Sometimes I hear Black Hole Sun and remember how much I enjoyed that song years ago. |

For heavy lifting days, angry metal.
For boring light days and cardio, something with a hypnotic beat that I can zone out to, keep pace with, and pass the time. |
|
Absolutely nothing
I'm not against getting pumped with a tune or enjoying music if you like. To each their own. I just like to focus on my lifts instead of "what do I want to listen to next". |

This is what I tell everyone I listen to while lifting.
