I am sure Israel is pleased with Obamas foreign policy plan right now. Can't blame Putin for the show of force. Turkey (with Zero's) blessings was providing a CAP for the FSA and now they have a great threat added to the region. Our aircraft, plus civilian passenger craft are all in peril anywhere near there now. Way to go zero. FBHO |

You avoiding incoming sams keeps you from doing what ever it was you were doing before. If nothing else it keeps you off task. You cant just sit there and defend for your entire time in the air and remain effective. So if they can push back the the turk F-16s from engagement ranges then i guess their problem is resolved and the sam batteries did their job. But it seems the turks are just talking shit at this point so i say fuck it,. go big or go home and see if the bear has the sack to shoot down your guys. |

Depending which model they have a max range of almost 400 miles. The newer versions have much improved systems. The S400 is a very good missile.

lol. I've been rooting for Russian since this whole shit show started. I don't see that changing anytime in the near future.
