Serious, sincere question.
What is your motivation for posting all the screw ups of the (in particular) NYPD? If I am not mistaken, I believe you are a retired NYPD officer, so it strikes me as odd. Are you unhappy as to how you were treated by them? Are you just trying to point out the screw ups because you feel they give the good cops a bad name? What is your feeling toward police in general now? Just wanting to put some context with your posts. Thanks |

In. I have 0 to do with this, but tagging for responses since I have friends who are former NYPD.

Extorris is a mysterious character. Not a lot of people know this but back in the 70s he played Joe the Policeman in the "What's Goin' Down" episode of That's My Momma.

I'd like to see a book written about the history of NYPD and its ties to organized crime dating back to the Prohibition Era, and how that leadership model has evolved over the last century.
How they legitimized through unions, and are politically connected to the former Mafia attorneys whose clients all killed each other in the mid-latter 20th Century. |

NYPD is a huge department, no surprise they have more issues with members than other departments that are a fraction of the size.
Also they hired some real winners back when salary was garbage. They needed bodies. |

I heard if you light some candles and say "Extorris" three times in a mirror, he will appear.
It worked for this one guy, once... but it might have been an isolated incident. |

Is it true that Runcible and Extorris were denied the same benefits that straight couples received?

I always assumed that you post what you post because you sort of enjoy poking the haters in the eye and then chuckling when they get spun up. |
