WTF? I was a "field producer" when I was in TV. Should I have been insulted? Can I sue? Oh wait, I'm an old white guy so I guess not. Can I at least be offended?
I can't tell you the thousands of times I've heard an assignments editor tell someone to "swing by" and shoot some vid. I worked with people of pretty much every race, straight, gay, and bi, and never heard anyone get upset about the use of the words "field" or "swing by." |
