the zany, crazy posters, the creative story tellers. the shenanigans of some old posters.
tossing rifles down the drive way, dressing up in outfits only to get busted by leaving the links open to the rest to their photos. I like the guy that made complete stories using photos from fellow members and would right a whole movie out of them. I think GD has become too tame

The cheeky and fun shenanigans are still around. You just gotta know where to go.

This place is a shadow of what it was when I joined. The nonstop Fox/Glenn Beck/WND shit, religion vs atheism nonsense and chicken little stuff has driven off a lot of cool people.

As if to imply we don't have asshattery NOW?
Serious question. I'm a relative newbie compared to many |

The guy who bought a house from a. Pharmacist and found a roll of "for rectal use only" stickers. Which he put on various items at the grocery and the hardware store, and then posted pics. Fucking classic. My GF thought I was having a heart attack I was laughing so hard.

SteyrAug group buys. I still have an FN/FAL STG58 from one of those.
McUzi Rants Arfcom Fear Factor may have been the greatest event in the history of the site. Bob eating that tampon and those guys mowing their yards in lingerie. I thought I was going to die laughing. Photochopping battles SGAR15 doll shows. Napoleon Dynamite driveway AR15. Underwater Bumpfire.. not getting banned for the most innocuous stuff..... |

The Neutral Observer letting a jar of moths loose inside a Michael Moore movie.
The ronmann threads. A couple of those are still among the funniest things I've ever read here. Investigating scratching noise in his aunt's attic, coming face to face with a huge owl, shitting himself in terror and falling off the ladder only to wake up on the couch pantless with the fire department guys standing over him. |

Yeah, it seemed like I was part of a Monty Python skit.
Now it's more of a Jackass movie. |

Should you be building roof trusses for a 30+ ft wide building (using 2 x 4s) if you have never even built a birdhouse before?
