I thought they just wanted to give us all cancer because they're evil corporations. |

My wife bought some of those Honest diapers when my daughter was first born. I used two of them before I told my wife I hated them and the pampers were way superior. My wife lasted three diapers before she came to the same conclusion. The Honest Company diapers seriously suck.

Totally fell in love with her in Dark Angel, and then again in Sin City. Just wish she would have stuck to her core competency.

HaHaHa....'Natural' and 'Organic' items like this are, a lot of times, a joke but sell because people 'feel' better about using that product. I'm sure, Ms. Alba's product here is more expensive than say, Nozema's sunscreen market to kids yet doesn't seem to work as well but hey, it's "all natural."
This is very much related to her line of 'organic' tampons she markets. Fool and their money... |

I, as someone with Irish and English heritage, like my sunscreen loaded with petroleum products that block out all sunlight.

The one thread that you start that isn't a picture or video is a thread about Jessica Alba. Gay.

It was discussed on GD a month ago or so; supposedly 'organic' cotton ones with I'm sure a price tag to match. My point to that was the truth around 'organic' cotton and how in almost every case, it's a marketing term. True organic cotton exists but not in large quantiles and carries a huge price tag. I'm willing to bet with Ms. Alba that her products aren't 'truely' natural or organic as she's trying to claim. This story further solidifies my certainity. Fool and their money. |

View Quote This, terms like "natural," "organic," and "sustainable," etc. are code for "over priced hippie crap that costs 3 times as much and doesn't actually work." They have ZERO science or even common fucking sense backing this shit, it's all based on wives tales, voodoo carp from Uganda bugs the witch doctor, and sheer ignorance, it looks kind of sort of similar so it must be the same. The people who buy into this crap are idiots. I hate government involvement as a rule but this shit has got to be rained in. "Natural" stuff should be clearly labeled as such and differentiated from REAL products, they should have to carry a clear and obvious disclaimer readily, plainly, and prominently somewhere on the product and it's packaging saying something like: This product is not real, or, for entertainment purposes only. Once upon a time this crap was regulated, it needs to be again. One more late Nate infomercial trying to sell me magical grass clippings to cure, well, EVERYTHING and I'm smashing the fucking TV. |

I am shocked.
Next thing you know, people will be looking to fucking Jenny McCarthy for medical advice. |

There is probably nothing wrong with it. SPF 30 is low protection no matter what type of sunscreen you are buying, and plenty of people are stupid enough to get burned even with sunscreen on. You stay out in the sun long enough, it doesn't matter what you put on.
