I'm not a delusional Ronda fan, but they haven't found a woman on this Earth yet that can beat her.
She has to fight, and it isn't her fault or the UFC's that there is currently no woman contender worth the sweat off Ronda's ass in the world. So, Ronda destroys this chick in Brazil, her home country. No doubt. She's going to get older before a even semi-worthy opponent shows up. I hope she and her team doesn't buy in to the fighting men thing. A middling featherweight would destroy her. Just a science fact. No indictment on her or her talents. |

She's an extremely high level athlete. This isn't baseball where you sit on the bench for half a game. Judo at an olympic level and now mixed martial arts are something that nobody on this board will ever understand. There are some seemingly down to earth UFC fighters, but I think people GREATLY underestimate the mental focus it takes. Look at Conor McGregor. He truly believes he in invincible. We know he's not, but his supreme confidence completely takes over and when he pairs that with his skills, it helped him win. If you doubt yourself in MMA, or you look across the cage and you don't think you can beat your opponent, you're going to have a rough night. Lots of these athletes who are not just good..but are champion level, they are a bit eccentric, head cases, off, whatever you want to call them. I think it's similar to the mind of an artist or gifted musician. Just my take on it. |

Bethe is totally going to knock her out even though she didn't have the skills to knockout 4 of her last 5 opponents who were not at Rhonda s level.
Rhonda is going to win this any way she wants. The ufc had to hype Bethe up even though she doesn't have a win over anyone decent. If the ufc can't find a legit opponent for Rhonda they have to manufacture one. |
