This the current Drudge Headline

http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/9963b74c-219c-11e5-aa5a-398b2169cf79.html#axzz3esVcr68Q

Article is cut and pasted on bottom of page four. It did not require me to sign in when I first red it on drudge, but now....

So you've worked and paid taxes and found a way to save a little and then they will arbitrarily come in and take 30% (this time) of "back taxes".

It's not YOUR money people. Or any other property, a home, a business, equipment etc...

It's the People's money....

Don't say it can't happen here (oh they would be careful to move slowly and incrementally here).

I know there's been a ton of threads already on this. Pretty much all that can be said has been.

But this is an extreme action they are taking (bad sign).

So I posted this for all those out there who don't think 'the news' or 'politics' matters to them.

And for the many Centrists we have who fear Conservatives as much as the Left....

Can't say I'm surprised, it's what they did in Cyprus.  (the other fucked up "Greek" country)

That said, it probably is "back taxes" in most cases, because Greece hasn't been enforcing it's income tax collection for decades, instead, they've been financing their government (and pensions) on German money.

So, fuck those Greek account holders.  They're crying about getting money stolen from them that they stole from German tax payers.

It happened in Cyprus, and now Greece. Other European countries have also floated the idea so it is being openly spoken about in many financial circles.

Anybody who left more than 8K euros in a Greek bank was a damn fool. Anyone could see that capital controls, haircuts, and "bail-ins" were coming

The people I sympathize with are those who had minimum balances and had to keep accounts to collect their pensions, which were paid by direct deposit. They're only able to get 60 euros a day out, now, if they're lucky.

The credit cards issued by Greek banks aren't being honored. Just today, I heard of a Greek truck driver who was returning from Germany. After he filled his rig up with diesel (some 600 euros worth) for the return trip, he found that his credit card wasn't honored. He had to leave his laptop and tablet behind at the German gas station as collateral.

The latest news is that there won't be money to pay the public employees, including the armed forces, as early as next week. Unpaid military and police means a very dangerous situation.

This is all being orchestrated on purpose, to put pressure on the Greek government to knuckle under to the international lenders' demands. Which are to make Greece a "debt colony" of Germany.

It's becoming very clear that the EU, and especially the euro currency, is an instrument of oppression used by the international elites to control restive populations. The sooner it collapses, the better.

BS. It's not the state that benefits from this, it's the international lenders. Anything on the balance sheets of the Greek banks goes straight to the European Central Bank.

It won't ever happen in the US. We control our own money supply so we can print more dollars far easier and with far less outcry from the populace.

Yep. Much more elegant way of stealing people's money. Just devalue it and turn their dollars into worthless void filler that they can use when they have to sell their kids on eBay to buy bread, all the while wondering what in the world happened.

Exactly, no need to steal the money in people's accounts when you can just print more. The money in the accounts becomes progressively worthless and no one even realizes it.

In Greece they raided all accounts including retirement accounts.

That will happen here.

In the 1992 Democratic convention. The Dems promised that they would turn this country into a 3rd world nation.

Also they promised to drain at the time $15 trillion dollars in retirement accounts to be turned over the poor and the blacks.

Like any good socialist, it's never their fault. Sorry friend, the people chose socialism, now they get the rewards. If you are gonna party all night, can't bitch when you're puking the next morning.

This isn't anyone else's fault but the Greek citizens. Own it. I'm about sick and fucking tired of people wanting fucked up governments then bitching when they get what they wanted.

Also Obama has been following the FDR playbook of illegal confiscations of large companies. The take over of the SCOTUS as was done in the late 30's.
Gold and silver will be confiscated by the government. As was done by FDR's Executive 6102.

After that we will go cashless.

By the way. Just ask yourself what the new 19Secret Obama Executive Orders are.

But liberals, always the enlightened fuckstains they are, think can can enlighten us enough that socialism will work this time.
