Since Richard Pryor is black & wrote much of the dialogue & Mel Brooks is Jewish & produced it, I don't see the outcry there would be over something a white male would have done.

It would be funny to see the reactions to that movie being made today.
I'm not calling for a remake, mind you. They've shat on enough of the classics already. Just think about all the PC liberal heads exploding. Worth it. |

Do you REALLY think any of the usual suspects even KNOW that Pryor was one of the writers?????? All they care about is that "N" was used X number of times. Brooks could do modern remakes of EVERY other film he did..except for Blazing Saddles, which IMO is in the top 3 Laugh-wise. |
