I came in here to post "the king of fruits". It's my very favorite.
Have you had a mango malt? |

Quoted: king of fruits. having a mango tree in your backyard is one of the only benefits of living in tropical S FL View Quote We used to have fresh fruit salad for breakfast every morning when I lived in Naples. Babnanas, Mango, Grapefruit and Oranges. Sometimes we put coconut in it too. Only tree we didn't have was a babnana tree. I'd put that stuff over corn flakes a lot. |

diced mango, lime wedges and tequila

Back when I lived in the tropics I used to eat 1-2 fresh mangoes a day, every day, for years, along with about a pound of rambutan (which is probably better than mangoes). We just had a box or two full of them from my wife's family farm in our place most of the time.
Apples and grapes just aren't the same now |

Mango is just ok with me, not my favorite though.
For me Mango's have a weird after taste, oh well.... Apples are my favorite. You can do everything you listed with apples and more, like cider, wine, beer, caramel apples, pies, baked apples, bacon wrapped candied apples, I could go on almost forever. Apples for the win!!! |

I love mangos. The ones we have here are nothing compared to the ones I had in asia. The best mango I ever ate was bought from a lady with a basket full of them at a rest stop alongside a highway in Malaysia.

It's a slow day. I rubbed meat, threw it on the smoker and decided to eat some fruits while I wait, this thread is the result. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Their great, unfortunately I don't have a tree in my backyard. Good times, growing up jumping fences and taking ripe mangoes from random neighbors houses.
