I love TX and Texans, but you guys really need to learn how to correctly title a threat. Based on what I am reading, nothing is law YET.
Right, not a law yet. But, a done deal as it has been approved by both chambers. So, as the title says, Texas passes Open Carry.
No kidding; misleading title.
In before RINO doesn't sign it. |
Now take off the training wheels and pass conceal carry withOUT a permit.

View Quote Not so much, there was an amendment in the house, so it has to be reconsidered again in the senate with the changes from the house before going to the governor. |

if it happens it will be a great thing, and since I may move to rural TX someday I would definitely be happy about it...I'm just saying that you guys need to a) keep the pressure on until the thing has been signed into law because you never know what might happen and b) work on your premature thread titles.

You guys only have partial info.
They law was passed in the state House BUT it was amended, by a R , so now it must go back to the Senate. It's not even close to law at this point. |

LOL....And they will have to pay for the privilege if it even passes.
Boy, the revenue hounds saw the rubes coming a mile away on that one. |

Right, final House vote next week. A formality.

Oklahoma says, "welcome to the club Texas. Oh yeah, we're still redder than you"

I've had my CHL for a while now. I'm excited to have another carry option. Paying a license fee doesn't really piss me off. Guess I'm used to it. YMMV.

The OCT tards are still going to tard. Maybe a few will get thrown in jail.

Has to go back to the senate first.
House bill had an amendment that changes the level of offense of the criminal tresspass statue (for the better), but the senate has to approve that bill with the same amendment (which I think will pass easily). Then it will go to abbott's desk for signature. |

A fucking license to OC? Revenue source. We don't even require that here I do. I frequently purchase 30 rounders and either have them shipped to my door or go to the couple local places that still sell them. is a law still valid if it's not enforced? |
