He could have said "The Navy proves being gay is a choice"
But I thought it was less about sex, and more about power? |

Who cares what his personal beliefs are as long as he doesn't get the government to try and force regulation on the public either way.

I like Ben Carson, but he's not ready for the national stage. Regardless, he appears to be a good man. I hope he finds a place in politics if that's what he wants.

Between this and the people that live in cities shouldn't own guns, i'm getting tired of this guy.

As valid of a statement as it being genetic. Both are unproven.

Nope.
Not a choice. Think about what you are sexually attracted to. Now ask yourself, could you CHOOSE to be that attracted to a man? Could a man's ass get your dick hard and make you want to fuck it? Personally I find that repulsive. Don't get me wrong, I can see another dude and think that he's a good looking guy, but in terms of "that dude must pull down some serious hot tail!" not in the "I want to stick my dick in his asshole". I could never CHOOSE to be sexually attracted to men. In prison, it's simply because men want to empty their balls, and there's nothing else around. I'm sure there's some domination aspect to it as well, but I wouldn't call it "choosing to be homosexual." |

Ben is a very wise man. The more I hear the more I like him. Really? You think those are the words that come out of a wise mans mouth? Yes! He speaks the truth and is not afraid to do so. He knows what he believes and is bold enough to say it, unlike what we have had in the recent past where these guys/gals will say what people want to hear and then do what they want. The truth will make people angry but that doesn't make it not true. |

Iran is developing a nuke, Norks are threatening the west, Russia is openly invading other countries, and the U.S. is the middle of an economic collapse. So tell me Mr. Candidate, what is your view on homosexuals?
|

He's right you know.
He is however not much of a politician and I'm not holding out any hope that he will occupy the Oval Office. In for the butthurt though. |

WHO FUCKING CARES?!?!
Can someone please focus on shit that matters instead of being baited into these dumb social issue traps? $18 trillion in debt, right? Debt to income ratio approaching Greece-levels, right? Expansionist China. Iranian nukes. ISIS. The Southern Border. FFS |

I'm sure some people are wired gay from the start but the liberal argument that it is not a choice doesn't hold up. Just look at how many gay/bi people report sexual abuse in their childhoods. This proves that environments or outside influences can turn people gay.

Just another guy who needs a reality check, and than needs to go back to what was his life as he stands zero chances of being a Potus from the right.

I could never CHOOSE to be sexually attracted to men. View Quote Research studies show that (most) self-identified straight men are still aroused by homosexual (male-male) pornography. Most people are naturally attracted, to some degree, towards homosexual acts, whether that be 1% or 99% (or more likely somewhere in the middle). The choice to indulge in it is as much a matter of conditioning as your choice to be repulsed by it. Even where one may be 100% naturally gay, it's still a choice to engage in the behavior itself. That society seems to pretend that celibacy is this intolerable pox, I really don't understand. Furthermore, your so-supposed need to engage in sexually deviant acts (and let's face it, homosexuality is disordered and abnormal behavior) bears no relation to the social purpose of marriage. I understand why people support gay marriage. It has nothing to do with sex, and frankly nothing to do with marriage. It's about the ability for minority groups to gain social legitimacy through action of government. And it works. |

I don't care who fucks who, and making outlandish statements about homosexuality being a choice because of prison sex? I think those are the words of a foolish man. Especially if he has hopes of winning an election. |
