I have seen you guys talking about that movie for years, but it never sounded like something I'd enjoy. Well, I had a 15-hour flight last weekend, and that was one of the movies I had to choose from, so figured since I was a captive, I may as well watch it. I woke up the guy next to me twice with laughter, and since I was trying to suppress it, I had tears running down my cheeks. He thought I was actually crying and asked if I was OK.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad I listened to you guys.

I fucking hated it when I first saw it but then someone here recommended watching it as an example of film noir and now I own it on DVD. It's fantastic.
