It's so hard to resist the temptation of lust and looking at women in a sexual manner.
 As a Chisrian, I'm trying to resist temptation which leads to sin but it's especially tough being single

Battling 4.5 million years of Earthly evolution is impossible. Being decent human and not acting on those thoughts most decent people have no problem doing. Feel free to move to society who bags their beauty in black or blue burkas if you can't be a decent person. |

I'm a Christian. I'm a sinner. So is everyone on this rock. If your hetero, you've looked at other women with those thoughts. Acting on them is something different. As your testosterone levels decline with age, it gets a little easier or lets just say, less frequent.
 Go to WalMart and look around. Problem solved, desire extinguished

Men are human biological beings. We are physically/biologically programmed to be attracted to women.
Otherwise the human race would have died out thousands of years ago. Don't beat yourself up over this. I have discussed this subject with my Pastor and head Deacon and even they admit it is impossible to contain. Just do your best and go on with life. Murder and rape are serious mental problems, lust not so much so as long as you do not act upon it and cause someone else marital problems. I am more puzzled by the percentage of supposed Christian married women who advertise DD implants or wear inappropriate clothing out in public. Otherwise the only other option is to poke your eyes out with red hot skewers........ just kidding of course ! PS- I've never heard a good explanation why some noble God fearing men in the Bible had hundreds of wives and concubines....and it was ok to do so. |

The 10 Commandments are the First Covenant between Man and God. It didn't work out too well because we all sin,l including lusting after beautiful women.
The New Covenant says that the Lord forgives of our sins. I can live with that. |

Some couples forget this, or stop trying. That generates resentment, anger, and eventually sets up the conditions where infidelity is more likely to occur. Not saying it's right, or excusable... Simply that you can see how a vulnerable relationship can be destroyed by the wrong environment, and the wrong opportunity, combined with human weakness. And people act surprised when their slowly- cooling marriage turns into heated infidelity with another person. This stuff isn't rocket science. |
