I can't take on a Dog at this point, but I'll bump for a good cause.
Looks like a nice little feller. |

Cute dog. How far south TX? San Antonio?
I'll ask around tonight at the steak burn. |

You got notifications when people mention your name fluffy, or do you just search until you see your name in search . Hopefully that dog can find a good home, sadly I have 3 dogs and a almost 2 year old, so I can't take him in .

Awwww....I would take him in a minute...but I live a bit too far north. Besides, my old mutt would be cranked if I did....
But I will bump thread for puppeh.... |

For being dropped off in a strange place he sure does look happy. Hope someone can take him in.

That's what you said last time
Good luck, though. People are can be such assholes. |

How far is he from Dallas Fort Worth, Houston or some other major city? |
|
I hope that you can hold onto him until a good family is found.
See if there are any no-kill pet rescues nearby that can help. I can't tell what breed it is but checking by breed may help find a good foster home. |

Here's what needs to be done: We have to get him to a vet so that he can get a health certificate. Then we need a dog crate and then we have to put him on a plane to Seattle. The airline to use is Delta. The whole caper will cost around $700. And I am in for $100 I need six guys to step forward and pledge 100 bucks. |

3-4 hours from Houston, depending on which part. About 6 hours from DFW. Someone coming from DFW, I'd be willing to meet them in San Antonio or a little north like Spring Branch or Bulverde. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Except for the money, this will be easy |

But let's try to get someone a little more local before we break the bank. Surely there's someone in Texas willing to take him. We'll keep the flying him across country as a last resort. |

Like I said in the other thread, he sure looks happy and well cared for. Might just be out on an adventure... does he have a chip?

OP, can you hold onto the dog for a few days? View Quote Yes, I will keep him for a little while. I don't think he'll be going anywhere with Dug, free food, and occasional petting. I used to kill strays but I just don't have the heart to do it anymore. Especially friendly, tame ones. |
|
I sure as hell want him, but can't. I look forward to the day I can respond to one of these threads with a road trip

I gota say living in SA for over 4 yrs people treat there dogs like shit here. I don't know it it's a mexican thing but god dam...

San Antonio dog rescues
Checking for a chip would be useful in case he got loose. He could have lost his collar. |
|
he sure is cute
looks like it will not be a very big dog (but I could be wrong) I hope he will find a home |
|
|
I can't take him as my apartment doesn't allow pets but I'm in oklahoma. I could meet someone and pick him up and take him as far as mid Kansas. I work every other week.
|
|
I'll help transport from Waco to the Oklahoma line. If we're putting together a bucket brigade.!
|
|
OP, do you think it's the same person that keeps dumping their dogs at your house?
|
|
|
Bump. good looking pup hope he finds a good home. What makes you think he was abandoned?

Experience. It's possible he is someone's pet that escaped, but I've never seen him before and he doesn't have a collar. Will check with the vet on Monday. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Dug got a little bit growly and snarly with Nameless last night when Nameless got into Dug's bed. |
