Pope Francis Wants to Cross Southern Border to Show ‘Brotherhood and Support for Immigrants’ During his return flight from the Philippines this week, Pope Francis told reporters that during his trip this year to America he would like to cross the U.S.-Mexico border as a “beautiful gesture of brotherhood and support for immigrants.” “To enter the United States from the border with Mexico would be a beautiful gesture of brotherhood and support for immigrants,” Francis said during his return flight to Rome. Yeah, illegal immigrants.

The Catholic Church has been persecuted in Mexico and many Latin American countries. They know fighting those governments is futile. Far easier to fight the government of the United States.

This is something that I disagree with the Pope. This also could lead to another large surge of illegal immigration into the US from Mexico. It is very dangerous for the Pope to be doing this or even saying he wants to do it.

Believe it or not, quite a few Catholics aren't really thrilled with him, either. He's got some good points, but he's also naive and misinformed on others. He's got some health problems, so I doubt he's going to be a long term Pope.

Feel good talk, and I personally wished he would have to climb a large wall, swim a mote and dodge any other obstacles desighned to stop illegal immigration, and possible radical combatants. If he wants to support Immigration he should show them the proper channels. The Pope is pushing to break U.S law. Another non American Citizen that doesnt have to live with the consequences.

In that respect, it is a deception. Look for salvation in the New Testament, not the traditions and political hierarchies of the Roman Catholic Church.
