Nice start on a collection...I like the SKOT Movie work? View Quote I don't do movie work but I did purchase them from a gentleman who is scaling back. The T-55 was used in the Mr. T Snickers commercial and the "Abrams" was used in quite a few movies but probably the most notable was Courage Under Fire. |

Ah, it's been a while since I was in the scene. I still wish I had that CVR-T, though...at least until I see where parts costs have gone LOL. Do you hit the MVPA West Coast National? |
|
Not sure the HOA would allow a T-55 in here
But having tanks is about as cool as owing a warplane which is as cool as it gets. |

|
Cool!
What exactly is that first one? It looks Abrams-ish, but only has 6 road wheels and the proportions are wrong. |

My 1942 Ford is as close as I can afford to a piece of armor.

Yep...Centurion rebuild, if I remember correctly. Four made total? Ah, it's been a while since I was in the scene. View Quote Yes, beneath the "armor" lies a Centurion and he said that there were three made for the movie. As for MV clubs.. I just found out there's one here in Vegas. I'll try and contact them and see if they want to use our facility for their meetings. |

Still have the White Scout Car for parades and the M-37. You have a nice collection started. Tracked armor is cool but a real Pain in the ass to maintain. Is that at Battlefeild Vegas?
I'm going to be in Vegas setting up for the KBIS show late this week. Can I rent/shoot a PKM at Battlefield Vegas? |

We have two of them to restore but it's on the back burner right now. I have several HMMWV's that I need to get on the road for customer transport and then we can start working the GPW's. |

Make sure you call the main number when you arrive and they will send a HMMWV to pick you up. Let me know what day you're coming in and I'll make sure to throw a couple of extras in for you. |

Your poor M3 lost a lot of the rear armor. Any ideas why they did that?
I can hook you up with some parts suppliers if you need. We got lucky our armor was intact and the skate rail complete. |

So what are the only thing between those tanks now and shooting a shell?

It's an M2A1 and still has the original data plate on the dash but I don't know what the heck they did to it before we owned it. Once we finish getting some more HMMWV's on the road we will start working on the WWII vehicles. The GPW and Scout Car have titles and I can get a specialty title for the M2A1 so we can put them on the road again.

The half track the M2, or do you mean the Scout Car? The earliest Scout cars were m2, but you look to have the M3. I bet you knock your head much less than I do. There are canvas covers for the skate rail to keep the concussions mild.

I purchased that so we could use it to pick customers up at Strip casinos for the coolest "shuttle" service. |

I never had one but a few of my friends who did hated sunny hot days on the road in parades. |
