I (CNN) -- North Korea is accusing the U.S. government of being behind the making of the movie "The Interview." View Quote And, in a dispatch on state media, the totalitarian regime warns the United States that U.S. "citadels" will be attacked, dwarfing the hacking attack on Sony that led to the cancellation of the film's release While steadfastly denying involvement in the hack, North Korea accused U.S. President Barack Obama of calling for "symmetric counteraction." "The DPRK has already launched the toughest counteraction. Nothing is more serious miscalculation than guessing that just a single movie production company is the target of this counteraction. Our target is all the citadels of the U.S. imperialists who earned the bitterest grudge of all Koreans," a report on state-run KCNA read. "Our toughest counteraction will be boldly taken against the White House, the Pentagon and the whole U.S. mainland, the cesspool of terrorism," the report said, adding that "fighters for justice" including the "Guardians of Peace" -- a group that claimed responsibility for the Sony attack -- "are sharpening bayonets not only in the U.S. mainland but in all other parts of the world." Damn, look at all the venom they're writing. These guys are REALLY butthurt about the movie. |

Holly fuck, time for a strongly worded tweet! After the King's vacation though.

You know, you keep walking by a chained dog everyday and poking it in the eye. One day the chain breaks and the dog gets even.
Yep and they said they had nothing to do with the hack. Yeah, riiiight...
Obama is going to profusely apologize anytime now. |
Just saw the breaking news.
I absolutely love our presidents little tap dance away from calling a cyberterrorism what it is. Man, we really better respond or we're going to look awful foolish on the world stage. |

Those north korean yahoos are like spoiled children. Threat, after threat, after threat.
They're just itching for a war. They have achieved the highest level of butt hurt recent human history. I'm in before some community organizer says that some hash tags will fix this. Peaceful protests. Raise awareness. You know the drill. |

Well.
What do you expect when you let them look like they got what they wanted? Less of that? |

I'm really tired of hearing from this fat little pin head, no not Obama.

There will never be a meaningful response from the Obama regime. As another poster said, there will be a strongly worded tweet, and Lurch will come out and speak tough but nothing will happen. We will be hit again and again, possibly by other rogue states, because they will see there are no consequences. There have never been consequences with this regime. Just fasten your seatbelt and hold on tight until 2016.

The best thing to do is to release the movie on as many venues as possible. As it stands, this hack is minor in the grand scheme of things. I think that NK wants an in-kind retribution so that their Chinese overlords can then forensically deconstruct our hack so as to better prepare their defenses for the same. I would not fall for that trap. Now as for the clap-trap, it is centered on Kim's pride and also his illusion to the masses, both of which will be wounded by the movie's release. So, I say release it. If Kim's butt gets hurt enough for him to really cross the line, we can hurt him then. Maybe take a carrier to his port and then blow farts in his general direction, or better yet, man the rails for a crew moon. Get it? Moon? See what I did there?

There are times I think we ought to just erase Pyongyang.
Just do it and send a note that says "what now, bitches?"
NK should leave it alone. Emperor Obama is doing a fine job with "worse".
That's more reassurance that we're not pissing off money on Guns and ammo.
Can someone troll the Norks into thinking that the "The View" is an offshoot of the movie "The Interview" and threaten ABC to take it off the air?
There's only one remedy. Retaliate in a way that makes their little dictator wish he hadn't done it. Anything less will only embolden him and others of his kind.
It's too bad North Korea does not have oil. They really could use some freedom.
No, you can't say retaliate, you'll get locked up. Besides, we have gutless leaders.
There will be serious pressure put upon Our Fine Young President to retaliate for this incident, not least by the Business/Hollywood community who are BIG Democrat donors. These are the ONLY interests of concern to Our Fine Young President. He will be urged to strike back, by many. There will be other folks urging Him to hit back for a host of good reasons. These folks will be listened-to, and blamed if anything goes wrong, should Our Fine Young President decide that He must retaliate.
In the event that He decides to retaliate, it is unlikely we will hear of it for some time. I would expect something sneaky, and impossible to avoid on the part of the NORKS. Plausible deniability and all that. I'm not holding my breath. All I can say at this point is that I was mistaken in thinking Jimmy Carter the worst of modern-era US Presidents. Very wrong. |

Obongo is just worthless in times like these. He`s kind of like the four year old that is an expert at making a mess of everything.

Sony bowing to their demands only emboldened them. Like the schoolyard bully. Eventually someone will need to bitchslap that little ass of a man. |

OBAMA won't do jack shit. He might tell them " ya'll better stop that"

NK is all talk and I doubt anything will be done. With that said.. The US is in the same position with this pres.

I figure waving a piece of pizza in front of them would be all it takes once they hit mainland America. |

If we actually decide to do anything meaningful, it will take some time to get all our ducks in a row.
Look out for the South Koreans Formosans, and Japanese to have a simultaneous "Alert" of their military forces, and also look for (eh, less said the better at this point). Remember that we are still technically at War with North Korea, the Armistice notwithstanding. That expands our options greatly, in the event we should exercise them. IMHO, Obama will be forced to respond, and He will likely be pressured to respond in a significant manner, much as He would dislike doing so. |

Can't count on government to protect you even when you're paid up with all the right people.
Sony was paid up with Obama. They'd bankrolled his last two election to the tune of a mountains of money and it hasn't done shit for them. Makes very clear how as average citizens we really are on our own and will be responsible for our own security whether it is from a criminal thug, terrorist, or hell foreign invasion. You literally can't count on your government to waste a breath to defend you even if you do turn over nearly 1/3rd of your salary each year to them in taxes. It is what it is. |

By the end of his term, Obama will be just like Saddam. There won't be a country on Earth that will want him.
