Never used it in that way. the recoil is really manageable for a 45. I would guess even in auto it could be easily controlled. I am sure someone will make an 'arm brace' for it soon enough. I would consider buying one in that way.

It's impractical, in some cases it's a flat out piece of shit, but it's always done something for me. Something about having that much fire power in a semi-automatic pistol is just cool as hell, even if the gun can be finnicky ass balls about ammo.

If I was a millionaire with a gun room, I would have a Desert Eagle just because I'd like a gas operated handgun to fiddle with, even if it's not super reliable.
