There's a "Slow Blind Child" sign in town.
I can honestly state, that I have never observed a "Fast Blind child". Nevermind that the sign has been in front of the same house, for over 30 years.

In Yorktown, Texas there is a yellow diamond with a handicap wheelchair symbol on it. Not sure if its a crossing, or if someone drives his mobility scooter down highway 72. ETA: like this one.

You know there IS a difference between looking and seeing right? I walked out of a shop and watched someone creme a guy on a motorcycle. Flipped him about 20 feet in the air and launched the motorcycle about a 100 feet the opposite direction. The worst part was when i ran to him he was unconscious, downing in his own blood. Noting i could do but call paramedics and watch this man I've never met before die in front of my eyes. The guy wasn't driving like a jackass. All because the driver didn't "see" him. It shouldn't matter if it's a Harley, bicycle, child or whatever else you hate. This actually has meaning and should make people on soap boxes pay attention. |
