Guessing I won't buy a Saiga anytime soon...or ever now.
Thanks Obama. |

I'm fucked if they go after Russian ammo. The only reason I can afford to shoot is because of crappy steel case Wolf.
|
|
I'm not an AK guy but I believe everyone should have one.
What does this mean for my WASR? |
|
|
All of a sudden, my POS Romanian I picked up for $300 back in 08 that I never shoot, seems like a steal.

When the sanctions were announced Wolf said that in the event of an import ban from Russia they would step up manufacture in other countries. |

My dream of owning a square back 16" 54R Vepr is dead.
edit: Nevermind. Different company. |
|
Well I guess that means that my SGL31-95 just went way up in value.
Fuck Obama. Hopefully the next go around we'll get a president in office who will ease up on import restrictions on firearms. I remember that Newt Gingrich's platform stated that if it was legal to manufacture in the US, he wanted to make it legal to import....... |
|
Guess my $200 still in the box straight cut MAK 90 just went up in value.
Seriously though, I'm betting you are going to see a whole lot of other gun stuff kept out of the US in the next few months. |

In related news.. Walmart's sale of garbage cans have plummeted.

Just go to Eastern Ukraine,Russian Kalashnikovs grow on trees there.
|

I'm surprised, was kind of expecting the AK to be added to the US Flag soon.
|

I've been going to buy one for years, never got around to it. Retarded me

374. If I own a Kalashnikov product, is that product blocked by sanctions? Am I able to resell a Kalashnikov product at a gun show or other secondary market? If a U.S. person is in possession of a Kalashnikov Concern product that was bought and fully paid for prior to the date of designation (i.e., no payment remains due to Kalashnikov Concern), then that product is not blocked and OFAC sanctions would not prohibit the U.S. person from keeping or selling the product in the secondary market, so long as Kalashnikov Concern has no interest in the transaction. New transactions by U.S. persons with Kalashnikov Concern are prohibited, however, and any property in which Kalashnikov Concern has an interest is blocked pursuant to OFAC’s designation of Kalashnikov Concern on July 16, 2014. If a U.S. person has an inventory of Kalashnikov Concern products in which Kalashnikov Concern has an interest (for example, the products are not fully paid for or are being sold on consignment), we advise that U.S. person to contact OFAC for further guidance on handling of the inventory. If a U.S. person has an inventory of Kalashnikov Concern products in which Kalashnikov Concern has an interest (for example, the products are not fully paid for or are being sold on consignment), we advise that U.S. person to contact OFAC for further guidance on handling of the inventory. Fine with me. Buy American! View Quote The CA 39 has had mixed reviews. Some people love them some not so much. They do have chrome lined barrels now and milled receivers and you can get them with wood furniture, and you can get US made 7.62x39 ammo now too but it all costs a lot more. I am just glad I got mine from IZHMASH already. |

Fine with me. Buy American! View Quote LOL. While I normally share your sentiment about buying US made products, the issue is this administration's underhanded attempt at ass-fucking gun owners which just-so-happens to spill poopy corn-laden semen all over American manufacturers in the process. And fuck freedom right? |

This actually will hurt the Kalashnikov holdings too. Sales to the US market is a good sized chunk of their business now. They sell very few AK 47's anymore in bulk to any military's. They pretty much get some police contracts and whatnot inside Russia and some other places, but they do a decent clip of their overall sales now to the civilian market here.

Well....Maybe we can get .22 since the neckbeards will be after Russian ammo.......
ETA....Trip to academy tomorrow for some cans. |
