In the heartwarming film, Forrest Gump, Forrest's boyhood sweetheart, Jenny had a wild side. Jenny was whoreing around and doing all sorts of drugs in the promiscuous 70's. She was also involved with the counterculture, who as you know, were keen to experiment with all sorts of acts of homosexuality and possibly beastiality. Obviously our world had no cure for this sin except to cure with fire and death. So, Mother Nature gave us AIDS to cure humanity of our degeneracy. Anyways, Jenny gets AIDS and eventually dies. Prior to her demise, but AFTER contracting the bug, she obtains a night of lustfull intercourse with lovable halftard, Forrest Gump therefore defiling not only his moral character, but his body as well. Jenny, now full of Forrest's seed somehow comes to terms that her ways are evil and decides to leave them behind. She stops being a slut and decides NOT to abort her forrestbaby. (probably because Frorist was stinking rich at this point from touring with the Lt. Dan Band and his skrimp company.) Now the baby is going to be born with AIDS. Jenny dies but the baby lives. The baby is half Jenny, half Florist, but since you can't have half-AIDS, but only FULL BLOWN AIDS, Forrest Junior Has therefore AIDS too! I'm really pissed. Forrest was at the prime of his life and a very healthy young man (could run coast to coast because nobody ever told him to stop). And now his motherless Son has AIDS and probably his father too. So we have this kid with no Mother to raise him. No grandma because she died too (not from AIDS, maybe) and Forrest probably doesn't have much longer either. I don't know. Sometimes I just watch a happy movie and get fixated on something like this. Kind of like the part in Back to The Future when Marty got Alzheimers from multiple temporal adjustments in an unshielded djlorean |

I don't think the kid was necessarily his.
And an HIV positive mother can potentially give birth to a child who is not HIV positive. Transmission is not automatic. Generally if the child is infected it's during childbirth itself. Secondly, female to male transfer rates are seriously low. Low single digit chances, if that. Especially if they only had sex once, and it was extremely short in duration and intensity. |

So in that case neither Gump nor Jr. have teh AIDS. ZA |

Nutrients, oxygen crosses it, but in most cases HIV won't/can't cross it. As noted above, transmission is usually during the bleeding/trauma of birth. But Walker Texas Ranger took it all in stride.

According to the .gov, Forrest was protected by his White Privilege. If the baby was white, it too should be protected by it's White Privilege, at least until someone develops a program to remove it and begins injecting Whites with AIDS. At that time, the AIDS rate will adjust to be equal 50/50 between Blacks and Non-Blacks. True story...
