Ask your wife or mom... Apparently she has the ballz around your house..
does it have herpes? |

Get drunk on some whiskey hook a rope to it and drag it through the window
Throw it out the window, smash it with hammer into smaller pieces, discard, and buy a new flat screen tv.
Yeah, if that TV weighs anywhere near 350 pounds it's filled with lead shot.
just saying looks are deceiving. It may not look big n heavy but in reality... read the damn text. Once you get real close and look behind it you will see what im taking about, that thing is loaded with ancient hardware
I swear 3 grown men in their 30s had trouble lifting that thing it and putting it on the adjacent couch, let alone carrying it around I think its bound to stay where it is, topic pretty much closed |
Are you throwing it out or just moving it somewhere else?
eta I feel your pain. I have an old Sony 32" Trinitron that still works fine but is a heavy beast. Of course, I can move it by myself. |

Like a Boss. I bought a new tv with free delivery and pickup of my old tv from Best Buy. Good bye 36" Sony Wega HD XBR Tube tv 180lbs.
Had one like it. 35" tube tv. carried it up a flight of stairs to the bedroom when I bought 7+ years ago. I said this mf'r is never coming back down. This year we remodeled bedroom. I had to do something with this tv. Called buddies who helped me move it in. They said no way. So I broke out the saws-all and cut that bitch into pieces.

That does not weigh 350 pounds. More like 150. An average man should be able to carry it. Just get another table to sit it on so you don't have to ever actually pick it up off the ground. Thats a bitch. I had a similar one and carried it out to my truck.
Yep heres the link. Its 149.6 pounds. http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?modelId=MODL026914&pathId=77&page=2&archive=true |

According to JVC it weighs 114 pounds...
And they make these things called dollys |

OP, is that your weed stash in the tin foil next to the hulking beast of a tv?

I carried my 36" Sony Trinitron outside & shot it with a 458 Win Mag
Yep. 114 lbs.

na its close to propably 100. Ok , the 350 part is overexaggeration
point is, as others said (and so did I in 1st post) it has no places to get a grip of. I already cut myself pretty bad on the bottom parts. Not sure why JVC didn't grind down their plastic but damn I got a deep cut |

I will never ever move a tube tv again in my life.
This is the middle of the second decade of the 21st century. If it has to be moved move it to the dump. |

IIRC, I've got a 36" that was given to us.
Yes they feel heavy cause they're awkward and not much to grip. Just keep the screen against your chest, and bear hug it. It's doable. Not sure where you got 350#. My little safe is 350 and I moved it by myself with a dolly. However, I didn't have enough ass to get it over center on the dolly. I had to fill a back pack with some ammo to have enough counter weight. Edit: Just realized who the OP is. I understand the 350# estimation now. |

It weighs 350 pounds and it is sitting atop a 1/4" thick piece of glass?

If you're really having that damn much trouble with it, get a shoulder dolly and put that motherfucker on it and have a friend help you carry the damn thing outside or somewhere.
It's how people move things that are actually heavy.
there is no way that weighs 350...120 maybe
that glass top couldnt support 350 pick it up, they will easily fit through a doorway... i just moved 2 like it recently. the sony was prolly a bit heavier than yours. 2 people if you need. one on each end get a furniture dolly if you cant do it yourself. makes it real easy |

True story.
I sold my old Sony Wega Trinitron 32" TV that was about 165lbs. It was listed on craigslist and I told the person buying it that they needed to send somebody big enough to lift it with me into their vehicle. A pregnant Mexican girl about 5' tall showed up. We loaded it just fine. OP...are you stronger than a 5' pregnant Mexican? |
I would pick it up and carry it to wherever I was planning on putting it.
Is that even a 32? |
