Folks are paying top dollar for Gen II non-chainsaw lowers and they are showing up with issues galore only to get the run around by Noveske CS. What's going on with these Tier 1 people??

Wierd..... I paid no where near the price of a noveske for my Stag and havn't had any problems yet....

There are some pretty bashed up lowers in that thread. Personally I would not care but whatever, I can understand why someone paying a bunch of money is pissed.
I thought the chainsaw lower deal was pretty clever, but I guess they really opened themselves up to people expecting the full price lowers to be flawless. A lot of that looks no different than some of the bashed up stuff that Colt sends out the door.
Wow, that sucks. I hope they take care of it. My chainsaw lower is much better than those.

Any plain jane, PSA or Anderson lower, I wouldn't even bat an eye at those marks.
Paid a premium for a Noveske? Yeah, I'd be a bit upset. |
I'd be pissed to spend money on that
I've bought cheap ass lowers that looked better than that, until I fucked them all up |

Was there a certain problem that kept rearing it's head , or a random bunch of different things that were getting by ?
Also....what's the price difference between a 'chainsaw' lower and a regular , premium unit ? |

I blame it on the Harbor Freight tools they used in their video.

I have one and it's never failed me. I see what you did there, Ms. Jane. Also, I find some amusement in the complaining thread. Would I pay that much for a lower? Hell no. So long as it is within spec, who cares? All it does is hold things together. The real important bits are in the upper, anyway. |

I contacted Colt about similar minute "flaws"--they never replied. Damn them!

Holy crap! I wont be buying any more Noveske products at current prices until QC/CS come back.
This is a clear instance of NOT getting what your paying for... Off topic: Are there pics of the Gen3 yet? |

Firm believer of the "lower is a lower" saying when it comes to forged lowers. Have narrowed down my choices to CMT or Mega when I get around to picking up my first billet set.

I would expect much much better from a non Chainsaw lower from a premium brand like Noveske. If it is it's being sold as having cosmetic flaws I'm out of give a fucks for those who complain so long as they function.
The last experience I had with a Plane Jane lower there were definite tooling marks! didn't affect function though!
Looking at those pics, my 3 Noveske Chainsaw Lowers look a hell of a lot better than those

Hahahahahahahahahaha! That's fucking hilarious. People that pay 600% premium for a rollmark.

Fuck yea this thread will have it all, butthurt from the fanboys and gloating that a great company is slipping from the assholes
I hope Noveske gets their shit together |
