On a related note, the girl has been playing for some time.  (She's 5yo)  It wasn't my idea to get the kids into video games, and I suck at most of them because I don't play em much. (MY favorite is Der Reis?)  My brother used to watch my boy for us and he would have the boy playing games all day and also gave him their PS3.  The boy probably had his 1 millionth zombie killed by the time he was 3. He went through a phase where he wouldn't play after dark because he'd get spooked though.

Nothing seems to phase the daughter.  I'm sure that'll be hell for me one day.

Thanks for the well wishes crew!

Yea Der Reis is good, I only have Nacht der Untoten, i bet the DLC is super cheap now.  Maybe I need to get it.  Yea when my daughter was younger she watched scary stuff it didnt bother her, but now it freaks her out.  It sucks.

I put that f.lux thing on my computer because it sounded like a good idea.  (See General Discussion. There's a thread in there somewhere. Uxb read it to me and I went and downloaded the damn thing)

Everything looks like it has a coating of mud.

I'm getting used to it though.  It's starting to have a rosy glow.

Hmmm.....

We shall see.

I'm getting sleepy.

Sleeeeepy.

I may never wake up.

Hit and run post, this is.

I'm not kidding. Ten minutes after I put this damn thing on my computer, I'm sleepy.

I thought it was a nice recap of the last couple of weeks. Highs lows and everything in between.
Don't feel bad. You had a ton of ground to cover since the last time you were in.
Besides when your the only one in it's easy. i wouldn't take any of there comments negatively.

I use a Crossbreed Supertuck.  My only complaint is that it's a PITA to take on and off, otherwise it's a great holster.

Looks good. I would prefer outside the belt / paddle holster for ease of removal.
It's either that or walk with a empty holster for a while. If its a pain to remove and install.

Well the Model 60 is up for sale. 440$ is the asking price. Wasn't really wanting a trade. Just the cash.
Then a e mail comes in. He said his wife hates the auto loader he got her. So now he wants a revolver for her.

He has offered a Sig Sauer 232 in .380 with two mags and the crimson trace grips box and paperwork.
That's worth a lot more than 440$ I think plus I still have a bunch of .380 from when I got that Spanish Star.
Almost 100 Fed hydro-shocks.With like 200 rounds of fmj...Any ideas?

update Deal is off he sold it.

Bummer you can have fun with a 380, but those model 60s are good solid revolvers, that was your old carry right?  Isnt that the same pistol Bernhard Goetz used?  Worked good for him.

I wish I could drop some cash right now. I would get it from you for my wife, but things are tight.  My next gun buy is supposed to be a 22lr plinker anyway.  I dont see how you will have a hard time getting ride of it for that price.  New is like 600 or 700 buck IIRC.

We had another storm today. We were supposed to get 3-6 inches but it turned out to be more like 12-14 inches around our house I didn't take a ruler out there but the snow almost spilled inside of my muck boots (which are 16 inches tall) while I was walking out in our backyard.
