I went surf fishing yesterday afternoon and my best fish of the day was an 84" lemon shark.

The trip got cut short because of the bad weather.

What do you do with that?
Do you eat him , sell him to the fish market. or just let him go?

When i lived in Santa Barbara in 1982 guys were selling angel sharks for 50-100 each.

I'm a catch and release fisherman. After a few quick photos I drag the sharks back in the water and make sure that they are able to swim away. If the shark is really gassed I walk it around in waist deep water until it's sufficiently revived to swim off on it's own.

Had to restock and organize the woodpile. Great day for it, about 98 degrees and 90% humidity.
