It's just too bad the conditions are so shitty on it right now. That canceled our attempted summit a couple weeks back.

That's what we kept hearing.

Hell, when we were in Olympic NP, we were told that Port Angeles (one of, if not the wettest cities in the country) was under Stage 2 fire restrictions. It was no bueno.

Towards Long Beach

Oh, more friends

Wait wait, I didn't get a good sniff.

Not even my kids

More than dogs taking in the beach

The sandpiper is a bit out of focus with some chromatic aberration on the edges, but I love how it exposed.  It was a fast shutter, so I have absolutely no idea why the water turned to milk in the shot, but awesome none the less.  The mallard is awesome even though it was a 300mm from about 7 feet

So I haven't figured out why the water exposed like it did, but am just assuming it's a product of the reflection of the clouds.  All in all, other than the faint CA the lens does pretty good even running wide open.  Now I just need to save up and get a 2.8f telephoto  If only it weren't $55 to rent the 300mm 2.8 for an afternoon.

Seriously though, post pics and don't be offered as a human sacrifice.  I think Harrison Ford is getting a bit long in the tooth for tossing that whip around.

Stopped to enjoy the view on the way back with my new donor car. Second picture shows the donor and the DD. Figured I'd get at least one decent picture of both of them before parts start flying.
