LC Smith top break .38 S&W 5 shot.
The first one from a store? PD trade-in S&W 659. |
Ruger Blackhawk, blued, 6.5", .357 mag. I wish I still had it.
I shot the hell out of that gun. |
My very first pistol was a cap and ball Colt
replica I have no pics of it. |
A S&W M10HB I bought when I was 15. Wish I still had it, being young and dumb I traded it off for a Ruger MkII.
i was 15 or 16, my dad gave me a s&w mod 19 4'', than he turned around and sold it when i was in the army, just picked up another one last month.

Stainless Taurus 92AF.
I traded it for a Beretta 92 and regretted the trade. |
Glock 22.
Also my 3rd handgun. Sold the first one. Considering trading back for it, but my newer Glock 22 has night sights and my original doesn't. |
Mixmaster 1911.
Damn thing shot better than I could. I wish I still had it. |

Quoted:
My very first pistol was a cap and ball Colt Shoots as fast as lightning, but it loads a might slow, Loads a might slow, and soon I found out, it'll get you into trouble and it can't get you out. Mine was a High Standard Sentinel Deluxe 9 shot .22 revolver, for my 12th Bday, a LONG time ago |
High Standard Sentinel .22 I bought used back in the early 70s....Sitll have it.
Ruger Blackhawk in 357 Magnum. One of only 3 guns I have sold in my lifetime. Sold them because we were getting enough money for the down payment on our house.
Beretta Model 70S .380 ACP - new in box.
I got one of the last ones they ever produced before they discontinued it. |
Ruger Security Six, maybe that's why I like the .357 mag so much?
Springfield Loaded 1911. Bought it last month as a bday present to myself.
Smith & Wesson 5904
My parents bought it for me when I turned 16. |
Ruger Mark I Standard that my parents gave me when I was 14. I'm not sure .22LR counts as a "gun" though.
My first real handgun that I would feel comfortable with as a WEAPON and the first one I ever bought with my own money, was my Beretta M9 (yes, M9, not 92FS) that I purchased when I was 23. Can't remember what I paid exactly but it was around $550 or so NIB with two 15-rd mags. Still have it, and still extremely happy with it. It was the start of my "holy crap, guns are awesome, and I need more of them!" phase which is ongoing and I suspect shall end only when I depart this Earth. |
s&w 22 wheel model # {63-3 ?}
it felt better when i changed grips |
First one that I bought and wasn't a gift was my Nighthawk 1911. Still have it, will never part with it.
BHP Mk III (I think, date of manufacture is '89), parked finish, nylon grips, etc.
Still have it, and in fact I'm packin' it right now |
HK USP40 Damn thing woukd nosedive the last round in the mag about 30% of the time.
Jennings P-22 jammomatic NIB for $55 with my 1st real paycheck. Basically my Dad bought it with my money and I got to shoot it or try to. It was far better at jamming than it was at shooting as no matter who shot it the bullet would not hit what it was aimed at. I think he sold it to a coworker and I never missed it.
