Ok, so this is a list of movies that are available for instant streaming from Netflix that all arfcom should have seen.  I'll start it off and everyone keep adding:

1.  HEAT
2.
3.
4.
5.

"thick as thieves" with Alec Baldwin was ok. I give it a 3 out of 5 because I was bored & can't sleep.

I started watching some of the BBC Mystery Series Wallender. It is ok but the gun handling is rediculously bad for a modern show. He never carries one in the pipe so is constantly racking the slide among many other issues.

Watch the Swedish version it was based upon (There's one season on Netflix too). Much better, they made the English version into a weepy melodrama.

I could only make it halfway through "The Expendables 2."  I found the first one to be mildly enjoyable, but this one was just brutal with the dialog being downright painful at times.

It's as if they thought "hey, we have a bunch of 90's action stars, why bother with a script?"

I just noticed "The Hunt for Red October" was added.  Now, that I can recommend.

LOL, you're not supposed to like him.  He represents capitalism.  Eli represents religion.  The movie was a hate letter to capitalism & religion.  But I thought it was a great movie, the rivalry between Daniel and Eli was really funny.  Reminds me of Putin and Obama.

I bought it at a pawn shop years ago and didnt much care for it the first time I watched it .....but it was one of those movies you needed to pay attention a little more than usual . The second time I watched it it was totally different as I picked up on a lot of little things I missed the first time around .....now I watch it every few months or so , one of my favorites ....DD Lewis is genius .

"Panic" with William H Macy was a 5 star movie. You could see the ending coming but you still enjoyed the ride. The kid Sammy made me think of how awesome it'd be to have a son one day.

It more than made up for the disappointment "exam" was.  And don't even get me started on "the oxford murders", that was so bad I couldn't finish it. John Hurt should have stuck with "the proposition".

One of the better & more interesting movies I've seen lately is the French drama "The Big Picture"

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_Big_Picture/70144329?trkid=13462064

Romain Duris is a hell of an actor, I've liked him in everything I've seen and this was a cool movie that didn't follow the typical Hollywood path this movie should have taken.

"Successful Paris attorney Paul Exben (Romain Duris) has everything going
for him, including power, wealth and a picture-perfect family. But the
mirror suddenly cracks when Paul discovers that his wife, Sarah, is
carrying on an affair with a photographer. After a tragic error closes
the door on all that he's achieved, Paul makes a fateful decision to
escape, fleeing abroad to try and begin a new life as someone else
altogether."

Yes............

I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state. Do they let you do that?

For anyone looking for a top tier drama I highly recommend 'House of Cards.'

I can't believe a show this good is a netflix original series.  Hell, it's one of the six shows nominated for the best drama emmy.

Is it me or do all the gangster girlfriends look like they are related. The hot lawyer is the exception. So far all the rest could be slutty sisters.

Documentary: Happy People, Life on the Taiga.

About Russian trappers living in Siberia. Very interesting. One fellow, in particular, I'd really enjoy spending some time with. Guy knows his stuff about bushcraft.

Ken Burns Dust Bowl documentary is typical of his work. Very good. Moving.

Watched "The Warrior's Way" last night. Japanese director. Very surreal. Worth the watch and has its moments but quite a bit off beat.
