Dad was a grunt (Big Red One, Vietnam) and I wanted to send him some songs about grunts. What songs can you think of that really speak to the heart of a soldier? So far I have:

I'm already there It could make pretty much anyone cry while we were deployed. Lot of guys had the song, but no one ever played it on speakers. Ever. I listen to arlington on memorial day and on oct 20th. ... hell if you're drinking and want heartwarming stuff search for surprise reunions soldier on youtube. You'll baww your eyes out. |
