also this is one of my OCD's before i drive away i check the side view mirror to make sure i put up the nozzle up as well as making sure its still put away in the gas stand.

Yea one of the family's stations off the highway had it happen at least a few times a year. Generally you have 2 types of break away hoses. The old type needed a rebuild kit. The newer bigger type snaps in with a twist. Still a pain in the ass and gas will leak out when you try to snap it back into place. Can't think of anyone being stupid enough to drive home with one of the pump hoses though. I'm sorry if you are that stupid where you don't notice it dragging along your car you shouldn't be aloud to drive.
