Just got a Droid with Verizon, had the Blackberry Curve.  I can surf arfcom fine but can't reply to anything.  I hit the reply button and it just refreshes the page I'm on....help, it's got to be a setting or something.

OK then how did this just happen? You need to turn off WYSIWYG in editor preferences and use basic. Posted via Droid

Surfing the web easier/better on a droid than a curve?

it's a lot faster, email option on blackberry is nicer.  struggling with the touch key board too.  I will get used to it soon though I think.

Yes my Curve is a POS compared to the Droid. The Droid is WWWWAAAAYYYY faster loading web pages, the gmail/calander sync kicks ass. Pandora, GPS, I can play my itunes music it is the awesome!! It makes the blackberry curve seem like MS-DOS

I'm using the eris droid. I like it but sometimes if you don't catch it quick enough, it'll predict the wrong word you want to use while typing. Also have to get used to my big booger hooks on the small key pad.

Does it just do gmail for email? My email account is through bing because of my school and I can set it up on my Blackberry.

No...it does any POP3, IMAP, etc. email accounts.  I have my yahoo and go-daddy accounts both set up.

that's what i was worried about, it will do all emails.  however you don't have the option to delete from phone and server or just the phone on each email.  you have to pick which one in the settings.

WYSIWYG editor works on the Droid (using it now), you just have to tap on the lower half of the text box, or it thinks you are trying to use the font toolbar.

Yeah, lots to learn yet. Had it about a week now.

BTW, does anyone use a stylis (sp?)  If so, do they make a big difference?

Try downloading s different browser.  I am using dolphin browser because it has pinch zoom. Maybe try that.  I'm on my droid now, surfing the regular site.

For those that don't like touchscreen keyboard ,that's what the real one is for.
