As someone too young to have ever seen the original, I find this intriguing...

io9's having a nerdgasm right now! http://io9.com/5488811/first-official-tron-legacy-trailer-introduces-a-few-sexy-new-programs |

I own the original movie.
The premise of this one seems cliche, but it looks entertaining enough I that I might watch it. |

I love the original with the 80's tech effects, and this new one looks sexy.
Yeah, being Disney it will have less grit, but usually Disney movies are more polished sound and picture quality wise. |

Seriously, someone at Disney has to have known about this guy. To call him and offer him a bit part, maybe even let him keep the costume - one with a little thicker fabric around the groin area, would be win/win. |

That is so not in my accessories folder. Trust me I looked! |

This might be a great movie to see in IMAX 3D. +1 I'm excited for the movie for two reasons. I loved Tron when I was a kid and the idea of seeing something that looks good on my HD in 3D seems even better. |
|
I was skeptical how they were going to visualize the computer world.
I really like what they have done. |
|
Love the original - saw it in the theater as a kid. I've been waiting for Tron 2.0 forever. The teasers that have been up previously and the new trailer give me hope that the new one is going to be quite cool.

Looks interesting. I like that Jeff Bridges has a spot.
Oh, and in for the butthurt folks bitch about raping their childhoods. |

Sadly no Bruce Boxlightner He is credited with being in Tron Legacy according to IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/ Under cast it does look like Alan Bradley will make an appearance. ETA: Oh and damn, that is Bruce in the beginning of the trailer...didn't even recognize him at first |

I loved the original as a kid. I will for sure see this one.
and the big plus is that "The Dude" is in it |

Befor eyou guys start ripping on this dude, remember he is a gun owner and active in the carry community. I'm sure the guy has a sense of humor about this stuff, to put himself out like that. I'm serious about he should have had a cameo role, though. No one man has done more to keep the movie Tron in the spotlight all these years. A whole generation of kids on the internet may have first learned about Tron thanks to that guy. Where does he fit a gun in that unitard? |
|
Damn, how many movies can Jeff Bridges be in lately?
And that trailer actually looks really good.
|

Tight clothes, seductive pose... You better cover her with a blanket or someone might whine... |

That made me horny. I AM old enough to remember the original, and I actually had most of the toys. w00t!
