Cleaned and lubed the hammer area, works great. Long time ago one of the other female members here...Barbara...recommended that I go with a dedicated .22 upper. At that time, everybody seemed to be having trouble with the conversions, and she thought I'd get frustrated, plus, she thought I'd shoot more if the ammo wasn't so expensive to practice with my rifle. At the time I wasn't sold on that, but now I've been considering that it might be a great way to go. That said, nowadays I'm seeing people really happy with the conversion kits. |

Since my stay here on arf, I have noticed one reoccurring theme:
No matter the thread topic and it is not just related to just GD because it's rampant in Tech too, there is always someone on a mission to convert people to their side. At first it was annoying but now? Either I'm getting cranky in my age or it's been increasing at lengths to convert or subvert people over here and I am losing my patience over it. |

I've done really well the last few weeks, enough that I have ordered a PRS and a rifle tube/buffer to finish off my Grendel. With what remains, I can't decide what I may do.
I bought that EAA for my mom and like it so much that I'm Co sidering getting one in .45. My only issue with that is I don't have anything else in .45 except a 1911 safe queen, so I would be adding yet another caliber to buy ammo for. So maybe I proceed with an AR pistol with the intent of doing a SBR somewhere in the very near future? |
