I won two awards for that the first one I went to.  Most Explosive - 1/4 lb. of tannerite.  Best puke - CNMG .22LR conversion with mag for AR-15.

Still have the tannerite, and have used the conversion.  Even got Dad to buy a conversion.

Like a champ.  It got a replacement BCG that just drops right in.  Hardest thing about the conversions is keeping mags loaded.

Mine runs 100%. I had problems with one lower not setting off the primers. It is 15 years old or so, and I have never cleaned the lower insides.  Cleaned and lubed the hammer area, works great.

Since my stay here on arf, I have noticed one reoccurring theme:

No matter the thread topic and it is not just related to just GD because it's rampant in Tech too, there is always someone on a mission to convert people to their side. At first it was annoying but now? Either I'm getting cranky in my age or it's been increasing at lengths to convert or subvert people over here and I am losing my patience over it.

I was thinking of building an AR for my daughter and then adding the conversion for 22lr until she is a little older.  I have heard good things about them.

I've done really well the last few weeks, enough that I have ordered a PRS and a rifle tube/buffer to finish off my Grendel. With what remains, I can't decide what I may do.

I bought that EAA for my mom and like it so much that I'm Co sidering getting one in .45. My only issue with that is I don't have anything else in .45 except a 1911 safe queen, so I would be adding yet another caliber to buy ammo for.

So maybe I proceed with an AR pistol with the intent of doing a SBR somewhere in the very near future?

Do it. That was part of the impetus for my buying the conversion kit.
