Ummm, I'm watching Fox and all they are talking about is the possibility of them testing one tomorrow.

I think it's safe to say that the missile's lift capability could not lift lil Kim.

Any country that uses the term "Supreme Leader" is always a joke in my book.

Allegedly they are launching a satellite, realistically it's a test of a medium-long range ICBM system minus the warhead (which they can't miniaturize enough yet.)

SEOUL: NORTH KOREA FIRES ROCKET SEEN AS COVERT MISSILE TEST
BY FOSTER KLUG ASSOCIATED PRESS SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korea on Sunday defied international warnings and launched a long-range rocket that the United Nations and others call a cover for a banned test of technology for a missile that could strike the U.S. mainland. The launch, which South Korean officials confirmed about two hours after an eight-day launch window opened Sunday morning, follows North Korea's widely disputed claim last month to have tested a hydrogen bomb. It will be considered a further provocation by Washington and its allies and likely draw more sanctions and condemnation from the United Nations. Link |
|
I have seen it speculated they are piecing together an EMP attack on the US. This is a test of the delivery system, the recent underground test was the warhead. Unlike a conventional nuke attack, which would require many missiles and warheads, this would only take one.
