Ok, so this is a list of movies that are available for instant streaming from Netflix that all arfcom should have seen. I'll start it off and everyone keep adding:
1. HEAT 2. 3. 4. 5. ........ |
|
|
The TV series 'Arrow' is pretty good if you're into the superhero genre.

Just binged Agents of Shield Season 2. Have two more episodes to go. I enjoy it.

Just watched "Monsters, The Dark Continent"
Pretty good, worth watching, decent gun play and they nailed some of the inter-unit bullshit. Until the end, then it goes to shit. |

I enjoy both for what they are, but cannot disagree with that assessment. I look forward to seeing what they do with Legends of Tomorrow... on paper, at least, it has a better core cast then either Arrow or Flash. |

Both highly recommended. |

Just saw that These Final Hours is streaming. I loved this movie and thought it was one of the better movies I've seen in recent years.
It's an Australian film, the basic story is that a meteor has hit the earth or something cataclysmic (it's never really explained what happened) is going on that is causing the entire earth to be consumed in a wave of fire and destruction. Australia is the last to be affected and the movie takes place in the last few hours before Humanity ends. The main character is a guy trying to get to this great "End of The World Party", while dealing with some personal conflicts, and is also trying to reunite a young girl with her father. Along the way you see the various ways people are coping with the reality of facing certain death; everything from hedonism, brutality, fear, acceptance, etc. It's a low budget indie film, but certainly doesn't feel like it. I thought it was very well put together. |

My welds are like works of art. Sometimes they're Vermeers, sometimes they're more like Picassos.

Tried watching Hot Wet American Summer.....amazingly not funny or enjoyable.I have no idea how much they spent on actors but they have just about every recognizable American comedy actor. Maybe they should have spent less money on actors and more money on not sucking.

I will check out the movie but if you want a really good read I would check out Matheson's story. |

In 1977 a young woman decides to walk across Australia by herself with a dog and 4 camels. It was very..deliberate. Not bad or great, just interesting. |

Mockumentary style movie about a teacher. I enjoyed it. The tall bald guy from Key & Peele is the principal in the movie. |

FUCK CANCER! |
Wife and I watched Spinning Plates last night.
I highly, highly recommend it. It is a documentary of three restaurants and their struggles, and the people that work there. Got kinda dusty in the room from time to time. Especially the Iowa restaurant...wow. I might be biased because the people are so 'familiar' to me but...you be the judge It's very entertaining and a great film. |
