I would add the obvious tip off when they wear one of those fucking Russian "newsboy" caps.
I know everything out of their mouth will be socialist dribble. |

Im going to go a different direction, and provide some from corporate America.
"Synergy" "Drill down" (used by sales personnel who call themselves "business development specialists") "Business Development" Damn near everything HR says "value added" (Double speak for pushing high margin services on the customer who doesn't need, doesn't want, and can't use them. I see this all the time.) "In order to increase operational efficiency" (This one pisses me off. The phrase itself isn't inherently bad, but 100% of the time I've heard this phrase uttered, the people using it had no idea what they were about to unleash. At a minimum, it is the precursor to more red tape. Usually it means that it addition to the added red tape, we would have to do more with less because sombody that has nothing to do with operations decides they know best. Less support, man power, time, etc. They look at a spreadsheet, change some numbers around, and viola. They get a pat on the back, we break our backs making it work, and the customers suffer. Rinse, lather, and repeat once a month. Good example: They lay off 30ish office workers, and reoganize each office. Now 8 people are taking care of the 30ish peoples work on top of thier own work. We posted record profit last year to the tune of a double digit percentage increase. Work load has greatly increased over the past year, and yet they cut our staff for that line of business by over half. Im a little worried about the future of the company because somebody thought they could "improve operational efficiency".) Im on a phone, so... fuck grammar and spelling. Edit: If you can't tell, I'm pretty pissed at the leadership for shooting us in the foot right before the big race so to speak. |

View Quote Its like every year the H.R. and Senior Managment departments from every business in the country get together at an annual conference and say "this is the line of bullshit we're going to feed them this year. Now, who can come up with the most retarded, metrosexual, hipster terms that will irritate the people out in the field the most?" |

"First and foremost."
I tune right out any time an idiot begins a statement with that phrase. |

Quoted: Sadly, "irregardless" is so common now that I'm pretty sure it'll be added to the dictionary soon. Hell, even my phone's predictive text displayed it before I finished typing "Irrega" into the box. Hell, even my phone's predictive text displayed it before I finished typing "Irrega" into the box. It would be some awesome if the predictive text would offer "regardless" and "irrespective" which are actual words (and the ones that were confused to become the moron non-word irregardless). |

"My time is valuable..."
No it isn't. If it was, I'd already know because you'd be getting things done. When your time is valuable, you move with a purpose. Instead, you're spewing derp and trying to bilk me out of MY time and/or money because you are doing barely anything above showing up for a paycheck, and you're barely even qualified to do that. I don't need an explanation to make an observation. You're insecure about sucking and putting up the screen. |

"Equality" due to "Global Warming" or "Climate Change" And "I don't want to argue" or "I don't mean to insult you", right before they start an argument and/or insult you. |

Quoted:
"So, ..." View Quote This is one of my favorites. Commonly used by smarmy liberal "experts" when being interviewed by their liberal admirers. Example: NPR Host: Mr. Gruber - Please tell us how your economic theories were instrumental in getting the Obamacare legislation passed. Gruber: So, after running the numbers, it quickly became apparent that Obamacare couldn't be sold without deceiving the public... Another of my favorites: "Mmmm." It's commonly uttered by NPR hosts and guests to convey the fact that they have a deep understanding of what has just been said. |
