WASHINGTON -- Former Washington Redskin and current NFL Network host LaVar Arrington went on television in his Halloween costume Friday morning, dressed as Houston Texans defensive star J.J. Watt. In addition to a full uniform and helmet, Arrington sported eye black as well as a bloody nose and bandage, as Watt played through a broken nose in a game last September. He also wore face makeup, rendering his skin several shades lighter, albeit not as light as that of Watt, who is Caucasian. Read more: http://www.wtop.com/?nid=1336&sid=3308549#ixzz3Hkw5qTGv |

Racist.
The bigotry and detriment to the community is enormous. We must all come together in this time of need and not waver from our foundation of tolerance, strength, and unity. |

I think it's pretty funny actually. But then again, I'm not the type of person who looks for things to be offended by.

not offended but it goes to show once again how its racist one way and not if done the other way

Meh, don't care. His intentions should be obvious even before reading the text.

Heh. Huge draft bust. He wishes he was half the player of Watt.

Remember when the reactionary black community all but banned the movie "Soul Man" because C. Thomas Howell went in black face? They were offended, outraged, even tho the point of the story was to teach the main character about what it's really like to be black. They were coming unglued at a sympathetic message, that's how retarded they fucking were.
That was an eye-opener for me, as a young man. I knew that outcry was the demonstration of a culture so self-destructive that they would protest things that were actually beneficial to their cause. I have never seen a reversal of that trend.

Am I supposed to be offended? View Quote Excellent question - I'm not sure either. Personally I think it was funny as hell Goose, if it turns out that we ARE supposed to be offended would you please let me know? Could you also find out what we are expected to do in response? Do we burn something or break something? Both? I don't have any beer bottles to throw at the local police fucking pigs, but I could always fill up a Dunkin Donuts coffee cup with water and freeze it. That might work. If I do end up burning down my neighborhood, am I supposed to call my homeowners insurance carrier first to give them a heads up? How did they do it in Ferguson? Did they have to pay their insurance deductible right away? Did they call their employers in advance to schedule the time off? Would I use up my sick days or a regular earned time day? This might end up being more complicated than we thought. I'm not very good at racial outrage, real or imagined, but for the sake of societal cohesion I'm certainly willing to learn. Fight the power! I am outraged. Where the fuck do they get off making fun of whites when the reverse is racism ?

It was a poke at a particular person, not White people in general.
Pretty good make up job really. |
