since quite a few here can hit 300 against a major league pitcher...
how many here can go in circles for 5 hrs at 200 mph? |
I would imagine that hitting 200mph for five hours is much easier if no one is on the track.
After several trips to BSR. I'm still not near
trying out a car like that. |
With 42 other cars on the track?, Lol, hell no.
Also, I don't think people appreciate the fine line between grip and flight those cars ride at 200 mph. They aren't all wing and rubber like the science project cars. |
I am fairly confident in my driving abilities. If I was allowed to prepare I am sure I would be able to race. Going from sitting on the couch right into a nascar. I'm sure I could make it around the track and not get hit as everyone lapped me.
That's gay as hell.
The 12" e-penis version of myself, fuck yeah. Realistically, hell no. |
lol
I love it. Half of ARF can drive like a NASCAR driver. I bet it is the same half that thinks Bruce Lee could kick Mike Tyson's ass. |
Nope. I can race in the streets though, call out my position, traffic conditions ,round corners like a pro, bail and catch bad guys

I could easily beat Danica at least. She would not only drive circles around you and me but she's better than at least half the rest of the current field. Most people don't have any concept on how hard it is to just qualify. Just run one lap and make the race. I'll go on record and say positively that not one person here could take a cup car and qualify it. |
no. I have ADHD, constantly going left would bore me to death
I would tie my dick off to the scoring pylon and go round that bitch like one of those control line airplanes... like a fucking boss

I'm fairly confident I could be 90% as competitive as Brett Bodine.

Impossible. My enormous penis and balls, plus the supermodels that won't let me alone, prevent me from getting into the driver's seat.
It's just as well, my mere presence on the track would crush the regular driver's ego and shatter their self-image. |

I use to race go karts...bro View Quote I'm not questioning your pedigree, however since you have experience in racing you should know the amount of sheer talent wheeling those cars on Sundays. I've played golf too. That doesn't mean I can win The Masters and that is basically what you are saying. |

By circle do you mean spin doughnuts into the infield? I would drive so much faster than her.... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I couldn't even race at 20mph for five hours, holy cow that'd be boring.
Where's the couch..... |
Bunch wankers here for sure.
No you can't. How do I know? Until you prove you have done it at a competitive level, you haven't. I can't. Now, if you want to talk about dragbikes at a pro level........... |

I did 8 or 10 laps in a Richard petty car at Atlanta once.
I can tell you with no hesitation that at this moment, I could not do 200 miles in July. Any of us would be mentally exhausted after 10 minutes. |

NASCAR involves tailgating, cutting people off, trading paint, sideswiping cars, running others off the road, and not knowing how to negotiate multiple turns.
In other words NASCAR drivers = Asian drivers And, as an Asian who learned to drive on the chaotic streets of Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei, I'd be a natural Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

If I'd been groomed for it since I was a kid, I believe I have the raw stuff of a race driver and could have been good. I've raced , and won a lot, in Solo-2 (autocross). I have good car control and the balls/skill to corner at and beyond the limits of a given car. However, I know that if you threw me in a car, at any level of NASCAR, i'd be spanked by kids half my age at this point.
With that said, I have a long story about beating Bobby Hamilton, Jr. numerous times (4 out of 5 races) at a go-kart track in Florida. Also, a South American champion formula racer in Orlando (3 out of 3 races, if I recall). Those days are behind me at this point. Sounds like bullshit, but there's another member here who could vouch for me. And he beat me in an autocross championship. Fast bastard himself.

I have not been to the above but have been to Bangkok. You can't really go fast there as traffic is THAT bad. In Miami, if you're going 80mph on the turnpike you are getting the fuck run over. I'm glad I don't live in south florida |

I don't think I could drive the speeds they do alone on a track. Put other cars out there with me? Hell fucking no!!!
One Christmas my dad got me and my brother ridealong seats in a Richard Petty experience. I forget what it's called, but it was awesome, I loved it, and just like roller coasters, I was glad I wasn't the one in control. |

Oh, you want me to come out of turn two, nail the gas, and fight the car's tendency to turn left by steering towards the wall? Ha! |

if I could get over the anxiety of the speed and get my cardio in check id like to try it
Drove in the ARCA series for two years before joining the Army.. So yeah, pretty sure I can hang with them still..
I have done a 1/2 mile asphalt oval . You just scale up the speeds and the crashing is gonna suck more . I spent 10+ years on short tracks racing every weekend
