My buddies wife got mad at the range and through a loaded pistol and my buddies head. Bounced off his skull and skipped down range on the concrete...

Electric pencil their social security number on the receiver of an old Winchester 94
|

Rare/valuable/collectable stuff turned in by hateful assholes for gift cards.
|
|
Wife of a WWII vet turned in a flawless Luger to the county PD, and insisted that it be destroyed even after being told of it's value and receiving offers to buy.

Electro pencil social in big numbers on a Browning bar grade 3. Right through the engraving on the side of the gun.

haven't seen it yet but it will be posted in http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1677690_I_have_decided_to_use_a_Dremel_to_shorten_my_barrel.html

Can't find it at the moment but there was a pic that circulated on the F'n Boot networks of a Hawaii Marine dragging his M4 by the sling, covered in mud and coming out of the field with the a defeated appearance you only get after being pissed on for days.

Colt Single Action Army 1st Gen, guy used steel wool to polish off the patina, WTF
|
|
Glock leg FTW |

I know of a defense contractor who apparently cut up a bunch of guns, including a transferable M2, a couple of M82s, and 2 NDM-86s (in both 7.62x45r and .308) because they didn't want to incur liability by selling them.

It's clearly atrocious and dangerous, but I'm still trying to figure out why the top halves of the magazines are painted. |

Does anybody remember the person that took the GI Colt 1911 and tried to give it those wavy slide serrations, and melted the edges on it. This was a fucking atrocity.
|
|
"Customized" [read ruined] a very VERY mint correct 1940 Colt USGI 1911A1 to include dremelling the ejection port and "stippling" the frame.
Took a couple thousand dollar gun and made it a $4-500 one. |

A buddy of mine had multiple misfires from his muzzleloader and beat it into submission on the hood of his truck
The rifle and the truck lost that one. Actually, my buddy lost it...........badly. |

Lots of people bitched at me when I polished and nickel-plated grand-dad's old .45 Luger, but it was badly pitted so it seemed like the right thing to do.

I attached a Davis P38T to a grenade holder and launched it a few hundred feet to land in a field to prove even cheap pieces of crap guns can survive goofy "torture tests" and still function.

Found an all-matching Westinghouse M91 that had been bubba'd with a vengeance. Drilled for a scope right through the Tsar's crest.
It was beyond saving. |
|
There are no shortage of idiots. There was the guy who ruined a perfectly good Mosin Nagant by drilling the rear sight base. Then there's the gun boiler. As I said no shortage of them.
The limits of their idiocy is without bounds |

Buddy at work owns 4 rent houses. Over the years he's accumulated a couple of guns from people who have left without cleaning the place out, including a nice Beretta 92. He doesn't know how to shoot, doesn't keep them in any place where he could use them for home defense, doesn't want to learn to shoot, and wont sell them to me.
I made good offers. |

If not, than this man just admitted to committing probably the worst gun sacralidge known to man. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I knew a guy who stenciled his social security number on a numbers matching K98.
He then shot corrosive ammo, didn't clean it, then stuck up in his attic without cleaning it. When I saw it 5 years later, it was toast. |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Yeah...pretty sure the only .45 luger left out there is in a museum and worth about 7 figures. |

I cringe everytime I see that photo. Poor Glock. |
