The Chinese don't have to be the best to win against us in the SCS. They just need to be the best on that day, in that place.
And having a lot more ass in theater is a big deal. |

Just kidding, we all know they’re here simply searching for a better life… These numbers are what CBP reported for 2023, no includy gotaway. These numbers have to be approved by that little Mayorkis. Numbers schmumbers. ‘Chinese migrants are particularly vulnerable’ More than 37,000 Chinese citizens were arrested for illegally crossing the southern border of the US in 2023, according to US Customs and Border Protection. That number is nearly 10 times the total in 2022 and more than double that of the entire previous decade. https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2024/2/22/disillusioned-about-china-more-chinese-aim-for-us-via-risky-darien-gap#:~:text= |

They're getting many more "good enough" pieces of hardware out of each dollar they spend. |

Quoted: China has hot garbage subs for sure but the real question is their ASW game is that hot garbage? View Quote I'd bet there are a bunch of interesting things going on in the ASW area. China's big thing is area denial, right? They want to keep the US Navy/Airforce out of the South China Sea for their own reasons with Taiwan being at the top of that list. Remember that Chinese sub last year that supposedly hit an underwater obstacle and the crew died? It doesn't seem hard to believe that China is laying obstacles, their own SOSUS nets, and who knows what else. The Chinese Navy knows that the US subs are the best in the world and many of them are deployed in their AO. Their ASW historically has been lacking and US subs would likely be a deciding factor in a hot war. There are probably some cool Tom Clancy novel worthy things going on that we won't find out about for decades. I'd bet Chinese communications (undersea cables) are being tapped, listening devices planted, drones of different types loitering around. I'd bet a lot of the classified stuff is happening at the secret squirrel naval base the Chinese have on Hainan island. A lot of it is apparently underground. It seems the Chinese are fond of Bond villains. Chinese Naval Base |

Isn't their corruption/blackmarketing on epic levels even surpassing the soviets/Russians?
I think I saw something about them selling fuel from their ballistic missles. Don't know if that would be a factor. But if it's comparable, even remotely as seen at the beginning of Uke/Rus war, could it make a difference against us? |

What should scare the living shit out of anyone watching, is that their currency goes a lot farther, so the “same budget” is building wildly more war materials in China than it is here. What chance does an f35 stand against a swarm of 100 cheaply built chinese fighters?

Quoted: They’re also not telling their sons to cut off their dicks and talk with a lisp. View Quote And who do you think is really promoting that bullshit? The old Soviet Union had countless agents embedded in our country, quietly worming their way into politics at all levels, college campuses, corporate boardrooms, our media, and our public schools. Once there these people worked to advance and promote their fellow travelers while driving out anyone not in their camp. The Soviet's collapse didn't change these people's minds, it just left them without a master for a while. And then the Chinese Communists arranged to come in and start funding the traitors again and coordinating their activities. Now, most of those genderfluid types and their allies are not part of this directly. For the most part they are too stupid and gullible to be of any use to the traitors. But they are put in positions and given a voice by the Communist agents. The ultimate goal is not to take over the United States, it is to destroy it. When Biden's puppet masters do anything it is solely because they believe that it will aid in the destruction of the United States. The Chinese would love to see the United States and the rest of the West broken up in the same way China was broken up in the early 20th century. |

Quoted: Ski jump aircraft carriers scream "we're second-rate!" China has a few carriers that can move, but many more man-made islands all over the China Sea that they have built airfields on and equipped with multiple kinds of missile launchers. It will be very difficult for the U.S. to support Taiwan when China finally invades simply because Taiwan is very close to the China coast, and anything we send to help will have to go through the China Sea. To do that we will need to wipeout these island bases first, which is going to take time.
Easiest and quickest way to take out these bases are with non-nuclear ballistic missiles, but will China go nuclear if they see a ballistic missile aimed at them? Is the U.S. military willing to take that risk? Taiwan will hold out for several months at least, it is a very mountainous island that the Taiwanese have been busy fortifying for 75 years so it isn't going to be taken easily. Will the U.S. be able to take out the Chinese man-made island defenses fast enough to get help to Taiwan is the key question that no one knows the answer. |

Quoted: And yet, their NCO cadre is 4 generations removed from any armed conflict. When the war goes to the ground, they are unprepared. View Quote The NCOs in our military today all cut their teeth on garrison duty and counterinsurgency warfare that, while dangerous at times, are nowhere near the intensity of a major conflict against a near-peer opponent. And many, if not most, of the ones who gained combat experience over the past 20 years are out of the service now anyway. When our military finally faces someone other than lightly-armed inbred mountain goatherders or demoralized Arab conscripts or wacky religious fanatics there's going to be a steep learning curve that unfortunately will be paid for with blood and treasure. |
